When Will Newcastle’s Nightmare End?

Since Boxing Day of last year Newcastle have played 27 league games – won five and drawn four, and lost a massive 18 – and at any other Premier League club the manager would have been fired, but not at Newcastle.

To put this into perspective over a 38 game Premier League season that would be 27 points and certain relegation.

Ashley’s Move Creates More Speculation He Will Buy Rangers

Mike Ashley, the Newcastle United owner has bought an additional 4.26M shares from Rangers International Football Club PLC, and that has more than doubled his stake in the Scottish club, and he becomes the second biggest stakeholder in the club, behind Isle of Man-based Laxey Partners.
