One Positive – Attitude Of Newcastle Players First Class

Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 · 19 Comments

It’s difficult to take many positives from the game last night, but maybe the good form of Gabriel Obertan should have him be in the starting eleven at Swansea on Saturday, and at least Gabby creates some chances, and he did that last night when he set up the late chance for Jack Colback, but the local lad missed a golden opportunity for Newcastle to take a point out of the game.

The Truth – Newcastle Are Not Good Enough

Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 · 11 Comments

In defense and in midfield Newcastle looked a decent enough side last night at the Britannia Stadium, but it was in the final third of the pitch where we again looked lacking in ideas, and the first real chance we carved out wasn’t until the 84th minute when Jack Colback somehow managed to hit the bar rather than put the ball into the back of the net.
