Why Carver’s Not Cutting It As Newcastle Head Coach

Friday, February 13th, 2015 · 159 Comments

John Carver taking over as caretaker manager at the beginning of the year is not unlike when Glenn Roeder took over from Graeme Souness after the former Liverpool great was fired in early February of 2006.

John Carver – I Was Brave At Palace

Friday, February 13th, 2015 · 98 Comments

It seems that Newcastle still have to manage Papiss Cisse’s knee condition, but John Carver has said today it’s difficult to leave the Senegal striker out of the side,  with him scoring so many goals for us  this season – 10 Premier League goals in only 17 appearances.

Newcastle Need To Sign This Kind Of Player This Summer

Friday, February 13th, 2015 · 10 Comments

While Newcastle have looked a fairly solid team in the last three games, we haven’t been threatening enough up front, and the team hasn’t created enough chances, and in the 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night, we had only one shot on  target in the whole game, and Papiss Cisse scored from that with a good header late in the first half.

John’s Doing Good Job – We Can Get Result At Manchester City

Friday, February 13th, 2015 · 12 Comments

Newcastle fans have been frustrated over the last two games at home to Stoke City and at Crystal Palace, when we went ahead in each of the games, but couldn’t hold onto the lead and conceded an equalizer fairly late in each game.

These Were Newcastle’s Best Four Players At Palace

Thursday, February 12th, 2015 · 15 Comments

We did get some good performances from some Newcastle players on Wednesday night at Crystal Palace in the 1-1 draw, but once Newcastle went  ahead with an excellent Papiss Cisse goal after 42 minutes, Palace showed more enterprise, determination, urgency  and effort, and in the end we were hanging on for the point after Campbell Fraizer scored on 72 minutes to equalize.
