Steve Harper – Newcastle An Incredible Football Club

Monday, May 20th, 2013 · 8 Comments

Steve Harper had a good solid game in his 199th and last appearance for Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon, but we’re sure he would have been solid,  if he had been playing in the first team these last two seasons.

We Have To Make Sure Every Point Next Year Is Gold Dust

Monday, May 20th, 2013 · 66 Comments

Arsenal were a team in form yesterday, and with the 1-0 win against Newcastle they won eight of their last ten league games and drew the other two – but a draw yesterday would have probably been a fair result for Newcastle, but it wasn’t to be.

Our Man Of The Match – A Great Acquisition For Newcastle

Monday, May 20th, 2013 · 72 Comments

We were big fans of Mapou Yanga-Mabiwa before he arrived at Newcastle in the summer, and of the five new Frenchmen he’s probably performed the best – along with Yoan Gouffran, who again looked good yesterday – but we still don’t know what Alan Pardew keeps taking him off in the second half.

Newcastle Need Two Players In Quickly This Summer

Monday, May 20th, 2013 · 24 Comments

After the game yesterday we were in no way criticizing the performance of our lads in the Arsenal game – in that first half we were the better side, and the game could have gone either way – but of course if Newcastle had won it 1-0 things would have felt a lot different today – and a lot better.
