Newcastle Star Confident Of Result Tomorrow

Friday, October 2nd, 2015 · 3 Comments

Dutch international Gini Wijnaldum is still getting used to English football but seems confident that Newcastle can get a result tomorrow at the Etihad Stadium where we have never won a league game so perhaps tomorrow is a good time to do that.

The Newcastle players have taken some stick already this season after losing four games in a row and losing at home to both Watford and Sheffield Wednesday before turning up last Saturday with an excellent display against reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea when we got a 2-2 draw.

Mitrovic Has Learned A Lot – Issues Rallying Cry

Thursday, October 1st, 2015 · 45 Comments

It’s now very obvious that Newcastle missed new signing Aleksandar Mitrovic in the three games he missed after being sent off via a straight red card after 16 minutes against Arsenal.

We lost that game 1-0 and then  lost games against lesser opposition at West Ham and at home to both Watford and Sheffield Wednesday.

But then the lads came roaring back with a good 2-2 result at home against Chelsea with the 21 year-old striker back in the side.

There´s some very interesting news over the last 24 hours that Newcastle are about to fast track Gideon Adu-Peprah to the first team after the 17 year-old left back was signed in the summer from Manchester City.

The 17-year-old left-back signed for the Magpies on a free transfer and has played two games for the Newcastle U-21 side since he arrived.

Two Alternative Center-Backs For Newcastle

Thursday, October 1st, 2015 · 8 Comments

It seems that Newcastle´s number one target for January as far as our defense goes is Joel Matip who will become a free agent – but there are two other good center backs who we were linked with last summer and are still being linked with.

Matip is the 23 year-old Schalke and Cameroon International center back and stands at 6´ 4¨ and will provide some much-needed height at the back for the team.

Thursday, October 1st, 2015 · 3 Comments

Newcastle put in one of their best performances of the season last Saturday when it was really needed with Newcastle fans not happy with losing the previous four games in a row.

Newcastle’s performances at West Ham and at home to Watford and Sheffield Wednesday were simply not good enough.
