Carver Reveals What He Did After Sunderland Embarrassment

Sunday, April 12th, 2015 · 21 Comments

Sunderland were back to their usual form as Crystal Palace tore them apart at the Stadium of Light in the second half with four goals in just 17 minutes, and 4-1 wasn’t even indicative of how much better Palace were on Saturday.

Sunderland have only five wins this season, joint worst record in the Premier League with Burnley,  and two of those wins have been against Newcastle United.

Pardew’s Palace Hammer Sunderland 4-1 – Leicester And Villa Win

Saturday, April 11th, 2015 · 95 Comments

Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace are going from strength to strength,  and after the half-time score at home to Palace today was 0-0, Palace blew the Black Cats away with four goals in the first 18 minutes of the second half before Connor Whickham scored in stoppage time with a consolation goal.

It’s a pity for the Black Cats that it’s not every week they can play Newcastle and win a game – in the last three seasons they have taken 16 points out of a possible 18 against Newcastle.

John Carver Recognizes Newcastle’s Sorry Plight

Saturday, April 11th, 2015 · 14 Comments

Newcastle are very dependent on what the teams below us do  in the league in the final seven games of the season, and  if they actually start to win games Newcastle can still be caught.

That’s unless we can start helping ourselves – and our players decide to turn up for the away games – and we can get some wins (those are when you get 3 points) on the board.

Three Policy Changes To Make Newcastle Great Again

Saturday, April 11th, 2015 · 85 Comments

Because we have now got the costs under control and are in good financial shape – and will remain that way for at least the next four years, given the huge money being handed out from the Premier League for the TV right to the games – Newcastle have a great chance to build a really good side – and rather quickly too.

Former Top Player Hits Back At Carver’s Cheap Shot

Saturday, April 11th, 2015 · 11 Comments

One of the things that really worry us about John Carver, is that he says some stupid things to the press, which invariably come back to bite him – and since he’s the mouthpiece of Newcastle it doesn’t make the club look very good either.
