Forgotten Man Now Has Huge Opportunity At Newcastle

Friday, February 20th, 2015 · 5 Comments

We cannot remember in Ryan Taylor’s career at Newcastle that he has played much better than he played in that game last October at Manchester City – his comeback game from a very long term knee problem – when he played in central midfield and made that incredible goal line clearance late in the game.

Siem de Jong Will Still Be Used At Newcastle

Friday, February 20th, 2015 · 82 Comments

It must be very difficult for Siem de Jong at the moment, and he’s had a tough first season at Newcastle, where he’s been out injured nearly all season, including in pre-season, and now he’s out with a collapsed lung – probably for the rest of the season.

What To Do In Case Of Newcastle’s Disaster Scenario

Friday, February 20th, 2015 · 13 Comments

Newcastle are really short on defenders, so we assume John Carver and the coaches are thinking about what they will do if we get even more bad luck over the last 13 games of the season,  and Mike Williamson or Fab Coloccini suffer injuries.

Carver – It’s Great To Have Guys At The Top Backing Me

Thursday, February 19th, 2015 · 131 Comments

John Carver has his press conference today for the game at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, and he’s been given a bit of hard time of it in the first seven games as the Newcastle head coach through the end of the season – mainly because of his team selection at Leicester City in the FA Cup and some of his tactics which were seen to be negative by the Geordie fans.

At Last – Some Good News For Newcastle

Thursday, February 19th, 2015 · 8 Comments

After John Carver came out in his press conference today and shocked everybody by saying that Paul Dummett was out for between 10 and 12 weeks with his knee injury, and we are still awaiting the news on Cheick Tiote – who is likely to miss as much if not more time than Paul, – it was really good news to see that 19 year-old Rolando Aarons is back in training with the first team squad.
