It’s been good news on the injury front for Newcastle this week so far, with Daryl Janmaat (hamstring) looking to be available for our next home game against Leicester City a week tomorrow, and Ryan Taylor having played in his second comeback game, and Ryan came through that just fine.

Cabaye Is Not A Good Player For PSG

Thursday, October 9th, 2014 · 14 Comments

We had an article out yesterday on Yohan Cabaye’s dissatisfaction with his lot at PSG, where he finds it difficult to get many games at the Paris club, and at 28 years old he’s in the prime of his career, so it’s not really surprising that he’s frustrated to not be playing enough back in his country of birth.

Pardew – It’s Been Held Against Me

Thursday, October 9th, 2014 · 10 Comments

Newcastle’s policy since Mike Ashley arrived at the club in 2007 has been to buy good young players cheaply from countries like France and Holland, and we’ve had some huge successes – like Yohan Cabaye, Mathieu Debuchy and Demba Ba – but on the other hand we have also had some failures, and after seven league games without a win so far this season, the new players we brought in over the summer are struggling to get to grips with the Premier League.
