Three Players Newcastle Need In January

Saturday, September 26th, 2015 · 133 Comments

If Newcastle can bring in a striker, center back and left back in January that will go a long way to improving the Newcastle team, but it´s also something we probably should have done in the summer.

Most fans wanted to see another top center back brought in and at least over the first eight games of this season, we still look too weak in defense with central defense a concern.

McClaren Rubbishes Report On Newcastle Youngster

Saturday, September 26th, 2015 · 18 Comments

Since the Mirror is a preferred media partner of Newcastle United, the tendency is to think that what they publish is based to some extent on inside information at the club – but that looks like a false assumption.

Yesterday an article in the Mirror reported that McClaren was willing to loan Rolando Aarons out so he could  get first team games.

This Is The Result Fans Expect Today Against Chelsea

Saturday, September 26th, 2015 · 8 Comments

The fact that under Alan Pardew we used to do quite well against Chelsea doesn´t seem to matter too much for toady´s game and over three fans in four expect us to lose today.

That´s even though we have won this fixture for the last three seasons and Jose Mourinho has never won at St. James´  Park.

Steve McClaren is trying to reset the ambitions and expectations of Newcastle fans and that will be very hard to do.

In his press conference yesterday the former England manager was keen to let fans know that the club wanted to change and that changes were literally being made from top to bottom at Newcastle.

Is This Newcastle´s Best Team For Chelsea?

Friday, September 25th, 2015 · 40 Comments

It´s a very tough game for Newcastle tomorrow at home tho Chelsea, the reigning Premier League Champions, but one ray of hope is that we have beaten Chelsea four times since the beginning of 2002, and Newcastle have won this corresponding fixture for the last three seasons.

So there may be some hope but it would be a brave Geordie who would forecast a win for Newcastle tomorrow – but you never know.
