Alan Pardew Explains His Falling Out With Fab Coloccini

Most Newcastle fans saw Alan Pardew go onto the pitch at the end of a tense QPR game on Saturday and hug his captain Fabrico Coloccini,  and there was a reason for that, since the captain and manager had some kind of  spat during training for this important game.

Pardew Praises Obertan And Marveaux

All three of Newcastle’s second half substitutes yesterday helped turn the game in Newcastle’s favor over those last 30 minutes – Shola Ameobi scored a wonderful goal to win the game, Gabby Obertan made some threatening runs down the left wing – and Sylvain Marveaux showed some terrific skill and was only inches wide of a post with a great free kick from  just outside the box.
