There’s an excellent interview in the Daily Mirror today with Newcastle’s new midfield star Moussa Sissoko, who has made an impressive start to his Newcastle career, since he signed last month.

Newcastle Now Have Great Players In Their Squad

Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 · 8 Comments

Well we suppose it’s official – Alan Pardew has been telling the Newcastle squad in the team meetings this week that the club want to do well in the Europa League, and it seems like the Newcastle manager sees it even as an opportunity to make something out of this season – which has been disappointing for Newcastle fans – to say the least.

We’d Love To Win The Europa League – Pardew

Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 · 13 Comments

We’ve wondered with our poor form in the league, just what Alan Pardew would do with the Europa League tie against Metalist Kharkiv, and whether he would even give it a go, or do almost a surrender, which is what we did at Brighton, once we saw the team Alan put out that day in the FA Cup third round game.

Local Teenager Coming Into Contention At Newcastle

We had noticed this morning that Adam Campbell was left out of Newcastle United’s squad for an Italian youth tournament – and that could be a clue that Adam will make the squad for the Europa League games coming up against Metalica Kharkiv on the next two Thursdays.

We Have A Lot To Look Forward To – Pardew

Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 · 18 Comments

When you consider how well Newcastle played last Saturday, we suppose we should be happier than we are right now, but that defeat, however tough it was on Newcastle,  has left us dropping one place in the Premier League and both Southampton and Aston Villa – two clubs who were below us in the league before the last round of games – gained 3 points on us. 🙁
