Newcastle Injury Update On Three Players

Monday, February 25th, 2013 · 64 Comments

It seems that there is nothing much wrong with Coloccini and Cabaye, who both had to leave the game yesterday with Coloccini being replaced at half time by Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa – and you couldn’t tell much difference in our defense since both Coloccini and Yanga-Mbiwa are both very good readers of the game.

Rob Elliot Better Than Tim Krul In Some Aspects Of His Game

Monday, February 25th, 2013 · 11 Comments

26-year-old goalkeeper was held in good esteem by the Newcastle fans before yesterday’s game after his fine performances earlier in the season in the Europa League and Rob Elliot put in a very solid performance for Newcastle yesterday – after letting in an unfortunate goal after only three minutes, and the first time he handles the ball in the Premier League was to pick the ball out of the back of the net.

Monday, February 25th, 2013 · 14 Comments

As we pointed out after yesterday’s great home win against a very good Southampton side, we are now only 3 points behind Stoke City in 10th place, and we play them at home in two weeks, but first up is a very good Swansea City side in South Wales on Saturday afternoon.
