Newcastle Shocked To Hear At 1:40 Today Cisse Couldn’t Play

It didn’t help today that the Senegal FA activated the five day rule to stop Cisse playing for Newcastle, because he had not traveled to join up with the Senegal squad for the game with Niger in mid-week – a friendly game that means nothing – and Cisse was supposed to travel all that distance with a sore back?

Poor Newcastle Side Lose 2-1 To Swansea

For the second home league game in a row Newcastle were unconvincing and this week went down 2-1 to Swansea with all the goals coming in the second half, but if things were bad after last week’s defeat, they are going to be even worse now – and we can expect the gloom and doomers to be out in full cry – in fact they already are – and the sad fact is that we’ve now lost more games than we’ve won in the Premier League to date.
