We were disappointed at the team Keegan picked yesterday because it seemed to display the fallacies of our former two managers Sam Allardyce and Glenn Roeder, by keeping the older experienced players in the team, even it meant playing them out of position, at the expense of the youngesters.

Newcastle So Very Fragile – Keegan

Newcastle played well in the first half today, and Michael Owen scored a great opportunist headed goal after just 5 minutes and we were 1-0 up at the break.

But then in the last 45 minutes we gave it all away, and seemed to give up the fight, and were well beaten in the end by Aston Villa 4-1.
