In four days of last month – Tuesday, January 22nd though Friday, January 25th – could be four days Newcastle fans will want to remember, because that’s when Newcastle amazingly brought in four top Frenchmen – Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Yoan Gouffran, Massadio Haidara and Moussa Sissoko – and already the middle two of those four French players are giving Newcastle a new look – a great new look.

Yoan Gouffran is an experienced player, you can can tell that from the way he has immediately fitted into the Newcastle side and provides Newcastle with a lot more movement up front, and he has some speed too – as he showed when he set up Newcastle’s equalizer in the 68th minute, after he outrun the Chelsea defense, and his shot was only parried by goalkeeper Cech, and a certain Mr. Sissoko followed up and put the ball into the back of the net and it was 2-2.

Pardew – Chelsea Game My Best Ever – We Must Keep Winning

The 3-2 win against Chelsea on Saturday and the way we achieved it has Newcastle fans around the world exhilarated with the tremendous football Newcastle have served up in the last couple of games with the new French players having arrived last month, and don’t forget we though the first half at Aston Villa, when we 2-0 up at the half, was the best Newcastle have played all season.
