Sunderland Midfielder Getting Closer To Newcastle Move

Thursday, April 17th, 2014 · 19 Comments

Sunderland midfielder come full-back Jack Colback, who is from Killingworth, is still refusing to sign a new deal at the relegation threatened club, who did really well last night at the Emirates Stadium,  and should have come away with a fantastic win, as they were the better side in both halves last night against title chasing mega-rich Manchester City.

Chances Of Newcastle Getting Top Target Are Diminishing

Thursday, April 17th, 2014 · 80 Comments

One of Newcastle’s top targets this summer is Montpellier midfielder Remy Cabella, who will almost certainly leave the French club this summer, but it’s not certain he will leave to join Newcastle United, even though there has been news over the last few weeks that the Tyneside club are already in negotiations with Montpellier for the player.

I’ve Not Been In A Team That’s Had Such A Bad Run

Thursday, April 17th, 2014 · 23 Comments

Newcastle have not scored in the last six hours of play – but hopefully we will have Loic Remy back on Saturday, and with the French International striker in the side, there’s always a chance we can score a goal.

Sunderland Almost Did The Seemingly Impossible

Thursday, April 17th, 2014 · 8 Comments

Sunderland looked doomed before last night’s game at the Etihad Stadium and were 7 points from safety with only six games to play, and other sides fighting relegation – Fulham and Cardiff – had also won their games over the weekend.

A Question Mark Hangs Over This Player’s Head

Thursday, April 17th, 2014 · 9 Comments

Steven Taylor finally returned to the Newcastle side at Stoke City on Saturday and at least the defense looked a bit steadier than it’s been of late – so maybe Steven will keep his place in the side for the home game against Swansea on Saturday.

This Is How Alan Pardew’s Job Could Be In Danger

Thursday, April 17th, 2014 · 10 Comments

How Newcastle fare on Saturday against Swansea City will depend to a large degree if we can get Loic Remy back in the side, following that calf injury of his, and if he can play, there’s always a chance he can get a goal for us, and stop our woeful form and terrible results recently.

Newcastle Set Sights On Arsenal Defender

Wednesday, April 16th, 2014 · 257 Comments

Newcastle have been linked with Arsenal right back Carl Jenkinson a few times this year, and the 22 year-old English International would be a good acquisition, if we can get him on Tyneside for a decent fee.

Newcastle In Turmoil – 11 Places Above Sunderland

Wednesday, April 16th, 2014 · 12 Comments

Sunderland are in real difficulties, and if they get nothing out of their game tonight at Manchester City, then it’s very much looking like they will be relegated,  because with just five games to go, they will still be 7 points from safety, and they then travel to Chelsea on Saturday. :(
