Newcastle In A Bad Place With Woeful 2015 Record

Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 · 24 Comments

This year has been a terrible one for Newcastle United and it may be a coincidence but ever since Alan Pardew walked out we’ve been a disgrace as far as our results go this year.

OK – so it’s a coincidence.

John Carver was appointed in Alan’s place at the beginning fo the year and was woefully inadequate and after Steve McClaren was fired by Derby County in May Lee Charnley appointed him as the new Newcastle head coach and he’s had a terrible start at Newcastle.

Alan Shearer’s Verdict – Woeful, Embarrassing, Hopeless, Inept

Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 · 8 Comments

When we put out Alan Shearer’s tweet after the embarrassing result yesterday Alan again used the word woeful for the performance but on the Match of the Day on the BBC last night with Gary Linekar and Martin Keown he came up with some different words to describe the display.

Alan said it was woeful, embarrassing, hopeless, inept.

After the game we had suggested pathetic, depressing, atrocious, disgraceful, deplorable and shameful.

Newcastle Fans Show Class Under Difficult Circumstances

Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 · 2 Comments

When Jamie Vardy scored in stoppage time in the first half to put Leicester City ahead yesterday it wasn’t particularly good for us.

But the Newcastle fans applauded the achievement of the Leicester striker who had just equalled Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of having scored in 10 consecutive Premier League games.

It was a touch of class from our fans at the game and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has acknowledged that on his Twitter account.

An Appalling Display And An Abysmal Record

Saturday, November 21st, 2015 · 113 Comments

Usually there are positives to take out of the game, but today there were very few positives to take out of the game – we guess we could say the result could have been 5-0 with Leicester missing some chances and easing off – but other than that – nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

It was an appalling display from Newcastle and when you look at our record in the league this season that´s abysmal too.

Saturday, November 21st, 2015 · 92 Comments

Here is Steve McClaren’s BBC interview after the game and he says he understands completely why Newcastle fans were unhappy at the end of the game.

Newcastle fans were unhappy because we were hopeless especially in the second half and we were no threat up front at all and that’s the seventh league game in 13 that we have failed to score.
