Some Mysteries Cleared Up In Newcastle’s Financial Figures

Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 · 117 Comments

The Swiss Rambler has studied the Newcastle Financial results for the last financial year of July 1, 2013 though June 20, 2014 and with the figures also being available at Company House – it’s now possible to look a little more closely at Newcastle’s financial figures for last year, and we have taken some of the charts from the Swiss Rambler site – which has been an excellent financial site for football for quite a few years now.

The site doesn’t produce too many reports, and the person running it is an Englishman married to a Swiss girl and he’s in the business of finance,  and his reports are of the highest quality – so  compliments again to the Swiss Rambler.

Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 · 18 Comments

John Carver seems to be getting down to brass tacks (so to speak) and he has said the time for talking is now over, and it’s time for the team (and presumably himself too) to deliver the goods – and that is a win on Saturday at home to Swansea.

Carver Concern At Press Conference – Boycott Affected Us

Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 · 38 Comments

John Carver has confirmed at his press conference today for the game against Swansea on Saturday,  that Argentine International Jonas Gutierrez has apologized to the head coach, after a training ground altercation last week, and he is now in the squad for the game on Saturday, and the other good news is that Siem de Jong will be in the squad for the fame against the Swans.

It would be great if Jonas can start on Saturday because he will show the drive and determination we need to win this game.

Newcastle’s New Head Coach Is Exceptional

Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 · 137 Comments

Michael Owen argued on BT Sport’s Football Tonight on Monday night that Newcastle United may not win  another game this season, and worse than that,  he said we may even lose all our remaining five games – and that would make it an eleven game losing streak to end off the season with.

And we thought last season was bad enough?
