The Newcastle fans seem to be losing faith in John Carver fairly quickly,  and maybe that’s because he has lost six of the last seven league games and five in a row, and John sometimes seems to be in a different world when he talks to the press.

If We Have Six Cup Finals Left – We’ll Lose The Lot

After the 2-0 defeat at Liverpool last night John Carver was positive again – and we suppose we have to be grateful for small mercies – and it wasn’t a 5-0 walloping that we took at Manchester City or the 3-0 hammering at Everton – so 2-0 looked a fairly narrow defeat at Liverpool – given what could have happened.
