Newcastle´s Second Half Surrender – Hammered 6-1 At The Etihad

Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 · 50 Comments

Newcastle started this game well and we were competitive with Manchester City in the first half after we went ahead with a very good goal from Aleksandar Mitrovic after 18 minutes and we were the better side for the first 30 minutes of this game.

And then just before half time on 42 minutes Aguero scored as the home side came back into the game – but then in the second half City fired five goals in the first 17 minutes to rip the Newcastle defense apart – and it could have been worse..

Steve McClaren has announced the Newcastle team for today´s tough game at the Etihad Stadium and there´s one change with Yoan Gouffran coming in for the injured Jack Colback in defensive midfield and the team will continue to play in a 4-4-2 formation.

Maybe if we had taken Jack off when he first was injured last week he would have been available today?

Newcastle League Stats Are Not Good – In Fact They’re Terrible

Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 · 5 Comments

It’s really not worth it for Newcastle fans to concentrate too much on Newcastle’s current statistics in the Premier League or what we have done over the last 18 league games – since we have only one win to show for our efforts.

That’s why it was so important to get the win against Chelsea last Saturday because that would have been 3 points to add to the 7 points we have taken from the last 18 league games.

Former Star’s Prediction Of Newcastle vs Manchester City

Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 · 8 Comments

In last year’s fixture at the Etihad Stadium John Caver said his Newcastle team were going to attack City and give them a good game and he was gung-ho.

We were 1-0 down after 2 minutes and 3-0 down after 21 minutes and lost that game 5-0 in what turned out to be a pathetic performances and a warning of what was to come.
