It’s A Worry How Newcastle Get To The Next Level

Saturday, April 12th, 2014 · 103 Comments

Newcastle fans were used to the club being in Europe fairly regularly, but all that ended once Sir Bobby Robson was sacked in late August of 2004, and since then Newcastle have been in decline, and Newcastle United have also lost their ambition under owner Mike Ashley, who has been the owner for almost seven years now – but there is precious little to show for it in terms of the team doing well on the pitch.

Newcastle Getting Nowhere Under Mike Ashley’s Ownership

Saturday, April 12th, 2014 · 14 Comments

Mike Ashley attended four games in a row after manager Alan Pardew got himself banned for seven matches after headbutting David Meyler at Hull City on March 1st, and as an example of how that was global news – in our local Raleigh, NC paper over here last week – up turned a photo of Pardew with the news story about how he had headbutted an opposing player due to the stresses of modern-day sports.

Not Much Chance Of A Result At Stoke City

Friday, April 11th, 2014 · 101 Comments

As we said yesterday – after listening to Alan Pardew’s press conference yesterday we were more convinced than ever that we will be hard pressed to even get a draw – and of course it didn’t help that Loic Remy is again not fit – although he’s back in training and should be available for the home game against Swansea a week tomorrow.
