RMC Sport are reporting that Newcastle are interested in Bordeaux attacking midfielder Wahbi Khazri and that the Tyneside club are interested in signing him in the upcoming January transfer window.

Sky Sports Pundit – I Really Worry About Newcastle

Monday, November 23rd, 2015 · 19 Comments

Sky Sport pundit Paul Merson predicted a 2-2 draw on Saturday between Newcastle and Leicester City,  but he was way off the mark and Newcastle were humiliated with another defeat – this time 3-0 – and the win took Leicester City to the top of the Premier League for the first time ever.

At the beginning of April they were rock bottom of the league before starting their incredible final nine games when they put 22 points on the board and that good form and results has continued into this season right to the top of the league.

Absolutely incredible.

Almost the very opposite has happened to Newcastle in the same time period – and we were almost relegated last season with 4 points from the last 11 games  and we are now in another relegation fight this term too.

Things Will Get Tougher For Newcastle Before January

Monday, November 23rd, 2015 · 108 Comments

Newcastle have just 10 points from the first thirteen games of the season and we are just one point above Bournemouth and third bottom – but when you look at out next three games we could draw a blank on all three – so it could be 10 points from 16 games.

We are at Crystal Palace, at home to Liverpool and then at Tottenham.

It’s difficult to see how we can get many points from those three games, especially if we play like we did on Saturday, which was another insipid performance from this Newcastle side.

Our Man Of The Match Apologizes To Fans

Monday, November 23rd, 2015 · 59 Comments

For the second game running our stand-in goalkeeper Rob Elliot was one of the few players who turned up for the game and he was again our best player and winner fo the Man of the Match poll against Leicester City.

In second place and worth a mention is Vurnon Anita,  who had one of his better games for Newcastle after Cheick Tiote had gone off injured in the first half.

Former Superstar Wants To Come Back To Help Newcastle

Monday, November 23rd, 2015 · 8 Comments

Faustino Asprilla was at Newcastle from 1996 through 1998 and with Newcastle 4th bottom of the league after another appalling loss on Saturday he wants to come back to help the club.

This is what he has tweeted after the game on Saturday when he was likely depressed like the rest of us, after watching another pathetic performance from our overpaid and under-performing players.
