Newcastle Star Likely To Leave This Summer

Monday, June 29th, 2015 · 18 Comments

The players return on Wednesday for pre-season training,  and we expect Steve McCall to be a busy man for the next few weeks, as he gets to grip with the training at Newcastle and has a look at each of the players Newcastle currently have and decide which of them can leave the club.

But the Chronicle is reporting today that Steve will be making a quick decision on Cheick Tiote

Surprising News About Newcastle Defender

Monday, June 29th, 2015 · 8 Comments

News in the Shields Gazette today that Paul Dummett will be offered a new and improved contract at Newcastle, even though it was only in November of 2013 that Paul got a new long six year deal at his home town club.

But Paul has impressed since then and has shown his versatility, being able not only to play at left back but in the center of defense too – so it will be a big boost for the local lad.

McClaren’s Staff Taking Shape – Announcement Expected

Sunday, June 28th, 2015 · 147 Comments

There’s news on the Derby County web-site that Paul Simpson – Steve McClaren’s assistant manager at Derby County – will leave the club on July 1st and that prompts the question whether he will be joining Steve McClaren at Newcastle – and it certainly looks like it.

When Ian Cathro was rumored to be coming in as assistant manager, we wondered if that would be the case or whether Ian would come in as the first team coach – and that may be what happens.

Paul Simpson looks likely to be the assistant manager.

Newly Married Player Seeking Newcastle Talks

Sunday, June 28th, 2015 · 261 Comments

We’re pretty sure that Alan Pardew was promised some decent money to spend in this summer’s transfer window before he surprisingly opted to join Crystal Palace at the end of last year after he was appointed by Chairman Steve Parish after the London club had fired Neil Warnock, and were third bottom of the league.

As we all know Alan moved Palace up to 10th place in the league 5 places above Newcastle and 9 points better off – so Alan did well in his first half season at his former club.

The latest news is that Pardew wants Tim Krul at the club – but in late April Alan denied that he was trying to get Tim – although that may have changed in the last couple of months.

Newcastle Could Soon Have A Big Star On Their Hands

Sunday, June 28th, 2015 · 17 Comments

Rolando Aarons had a great pre-season for Newcastle last summer and looked like a budding star, but then he picked up a hamstring injury in September and that hampered his season and he played only 6 times for Newcastle last season.

However, he appeared just once since he played on November 1st in the home game against Liverpool – which we won 1-0.

It shows that Rolando has a really good attitude in that he has been training all summer with local Bristol youth side Hallen FC, where he is working with strength and conditioning specialists Back 2 Action.
