Newcastle were brought down to earth yesterday at the Emirates Stadium, when we were hammered 4-1 by Arsenal in what was Newcastle’s worst display for a long time –  only the second defeat in the last  11 games and the first time in 11 games that we had conceded more than one goal in a game.
