Newcastle Sweating Again On Even More Injuries

Monday, November 23rd, 2015 · 8 Comments

According to Newcastle United are still top of the injury league and at the moment we are said to have ten players out injured and a new player out after Saturday is defensive midfielder Cheick Tiote.

We were told last Friday that Gabby Obertan is out for four months with a hamstring problem after being operated on in France.

Cheick was coming into some good form but he was given a hospital ball by Daryl Janmaat after 23 minutes on Saturday and in trying to win the ball it seems his groin went and while he tried to continue he couldn’t – to his obvious frustration.

Reports McClaren To Be Given Ample Time To Recover

Monday, November 23rd, 2015 · 11 Comments

Steve McClaren will be given time to turn things around at Newcastle and there was more than one report in the Chronicle last week that Steve McClaren and the new coaching team will be given ample time to get things right.

That may be true but we there was also a report in the Chronicle on April 22nd that John Carver and Steve Stone “were the only viable” candidates for the head coaching job at Newcastle.

And that was after we had been beaten 3-1 at home by Tottenham which was our sixth defeat in a row.

No wonder Newcastle fans were in a panic at that time.

Surprise – Shocking Newcastle Not A Shock To This Man

Monday, November 23rd, 2015 · 9 Comments

Steve McClaren when asked if he was shocked with Newcastle’s pitiful and gutless display on Saturday said that he wasn’t.

And Steve used what he has used all season to defend (yet) another poor display – Newcastle are simply far too inconsistent.

Newcastle Player Likely To Be Dropped For Palace Game

Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 · 48 Comments

The game against Leicester City on Saturday was played after the third two-week International break since early September  and that hasn’t helped Premier League sides settle down, and with International games, European club games and the Premier League games, there just seems to be far too many games crammed into the season.

And maybe that’s one reason why there are so many injuries these days with the players – no more so than at Newcastle.

Newcastle Star Reveals Mad Men In Dressing Room

Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 · 8 Comments

Newcastle star midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has admitted that he was frustrated on Saturday when he had to move into a defensive midfield position after Cheick Tiote was injured after less than 25 minutes of the game against Leicester City.

Newcastle lost the game 3-0 far too easily and were basically outfought and outclassed by the club who went top of the Premier League for the very first time over the weekend.

It´s A Challenge To Be Patient After This Happens

Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 · 156 Comments

We are going to have setbacks – I have said that before and today was a setback because we were not good enough – we still lack consistency.

We have to get consistency into our game and the sooner players realize that the better things will be,  but it´s going to be two steps forward and one step back – it´s difficult to turn this big ship around.

I´ve said it before – but today was a setback – no doubt about that – and we?e going to have setbacks – but we’ll get back on the training field next week and get our heads down and work really hard for the next game –  believe you me.
