Alan Pardew Praises Newcastle – I Miss It

Monday, March 23rd, 2015 · 83 Comments

We expect Alan Pardew to always talk about his four years at Newcastle as being probably the best time of his football management career, and one reason for that is because he will never manage a bigger club or a club with more passionate fans than Newcastle – and he knows that.

Remy Cabella was ahead for a lot of the time yesterday in the voting, but now Daryl Janmaat is in the lead, with both Cabella and Janmaat getting over 30% of the vote for our Man of the Match, in the game against Arsenal.

Let’s Give Credit Where Credit Is Due

Monday, March 23rd, 2015 · 9 Comments

John Carver seems to be fully behind the way Mike Ashley runs the club, and that’s one reason we are concerned that John may get the head coach job in the summer, because that means nothing will change and we will continue to struggle to make the top ten in the Premier League, as we have done with Mike Ashley as the owner over the last eight years.

John Carver seems to be an upbeat guy, and after the game yesterday he enthused about how good Remy Cabella was, and certainly the Frenchman had a very good game especially in the second half, and it looks like he’s going to have a good career at Newcastle.

This Newcastle Player Deserves Great Credit

It was some debut at center-back for Daryl Janmaat yesterday against Arsenal, as he filled in for the suspended Fabricio Coloccini, and Daryl played so well that Colo wasn’t missed at all at the center of Newcastle’s defense, and in fact Daryl and Willo played very well together in central defense.
