John Carver To Try New Options On Saturday

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 · 22 Comments

Newcastle are now in a relegation battle for the second time in two years, and one area we are very weak in is  goal scoring, after we failed to bring in enough strikers last summer, and there’s news today that head coach John Carver may have to bring back French striker Emmanuel Riviere, although he is yet to score a Premier League goal this season.

Newcastle’s Two Remaining Candidates Will Shock Fans

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 · 23 Comments

The Chronicle are reporting today that Newcastle have only two candidates remaining for the head coach position at the once famous club, and fans should forget about bringing in a top coach, because apparently the only two remaining candidates for the job are John Carver and Steve McClaren.

No More Points For Newcastle This Season – Michael Owen – Video

Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 · 98 Comments

Michael Owen on BT Sport has said he cannot see Newcastle getting one more point in the league this season and if there were still 10 games to go instead of five – Newcastle would be relegated.

And the pundits discuss if Newcastle could bring in another coach – but it’s too late now with just 5 games to go – we’ll just have to hope the teams beneath us don’t start doing something crazy like Leicester have been doing recently – and start winning games.

The way John Carver and our players should look at this is to prove Michael Owen dead wrong and go out and beat Swansea on Saturday at St. James’ Park.

Newcastle Bottom Side In PL – 8th Bottom Of 98 Sides In Europe

Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 · 28 Comments

We occupied rock bottom place in the Premier League form table about a year ago, after we had lost six games in a row for the first time ever in the league, and we had kind of a reason for that,  because for the first five of those defeats Newcastle had John Carver as the touchline coach, after manager Alan Pardew had picked up a seven game ban at Hull City on March 1st for head-butting a Hull player.
