Benitez Trying To Use These Top Two Players Effectively

Wednesday, April 27th, 2016 · 18 Comments

Rafa Benitez seems to be a fan of Papiss Cisse and he keeps mentioning how well the Senegal striker has been playing for the team.

The former Liverpool manager has brought in two of our most experienced players in Papiss and Cheick Tiote and they have both played well in the last three games.

Rafa has preferred Cisse to start up front and then he has brought on young Aleksandar Mitrovic more as an impact sub in the second half of games and Mitro has been able to be effective in that role.

More Praise For Rafa Benitez

Wednesday, April 27th, 2016 · 5 Comments

Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys is not a fan of Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez, but even Richard has said it´s impressive what Rafa has managed to do in the last three games after the debacle at Southampton.

Five points against three of our bogey teams, Swansea, Manchester City and Liverpool is a very good haul and now we have two much easier games coming up against Crustal Palace at home and Aston Villa away.

Easier on paper that is.

Top Tottenham Star Will Likely Miss Newcastle Game

Tuesday, April 26th, 2016 · 98 Comments

Newcastle need to make sure we win the next two games against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa and then we would have a very decent chance of making it three wins in a row in the final game of the season and possible safety from relegation.

Wouldn’t that be something.

Tottenham, with their draw last night against West Brom at White hart Lane now look like the best they can finish in the league is second top – and they will not be coming to St. James’ Park on May 15th where a draw or a win could get them the title.

Harry Redknapp On Rafa’s Future At Newcastle – It’s Surprising

Tuesday, April 26th, 2016 · 201 Comments

It would be terrific if we can stay in the Premier League and then Rafa Benitez can start to build a powerhouse of a side on Tyneside next season.

But if we go down the only thing that matters then is that Rafa stays with us – if he does that then the rebuilding of Newcastle as both a team and a club can begin – or should we say – it can continue

We have no doubt that Rafa can get us back to the Premier League at the very first attempt and some of our top players would even want to stay at the club to stay with Benitez.

Can Newcastle Beat Crystal Palace On Saturday?

Tuesday, April 26th, 2016 · 13 Comments

It’s looking like if we can win our last three games against Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Tottenham Newcastle could be safe this season but a let-down in any one of the games could also be fatal.

Rafa believes three wins will see Newcastle safe and the players seem o be ready to fight for their lives (so to speak) in the last three games – two of which are at St. James’ Park – which we expect to be sell-outs for two of our most games in recent memory.

It also brings former manager Alan Pardew back to St. James’ Park since he left early last year.
