Alan Shearer Can Be Proud Of This Moment

Thursday, October 20th, 2016 · 8 Comments

We had seen the photo of Alan Shearer below carrying out a disabled fan before the Entertainers game and thought it reflected so well on Alan Shearer himself and on The Alan Shearer Foundation.

It turns out the boy is 9 year-old Kian Henaghan from Cullercoats and he was Alan’s mascot for the game.

Poll – Can Newcastle Make It 5 Wins In A Row Against Ipswich?

Thursday, October 20th, 2016 · 53 Comments

Each game is a unique challenge for Newcastle United and when we face Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon they have a good defense, so it could be difficult for us to break them down.

Ipswich have only conceded 9 goals in the league in their 13 games, but on the other hand they have only scored 10 goals, so it could be a low scoring game and it could be crucial for Newcastle to keep a clean sheet on Saturday.

A win would be our 5th in a row and would keep us at the top of the Championship table – which is what we need.

These Were Newcastle’s Best Three Players At Oakwell – Video

Thursday, October 20th, 2016 · 2 Comments

For the second game in a row it was Dwight Gayle who easily won our Man of the Match poll with a brace of goals and 70% of the vote.

His two opportunist second half goals were enough the give us the 2-0 win at Oakwell and send us to the top of the league.

That was our fourth win on the trot, since we amazingly beat Norwich 4-3 with goals in the 95th and 96th minutes back on 28th September.

Striker Admits He’s Always Confident In Front Of Goal

Thursday, October 20th, 2016 · 3 Comments

Dwight Gayle has now scored seven goals in the last four games – all wins – failing to score in the game at Rotherham where Christian Atsu was making his starting debut and scored a great goal to get us all 3 points.

After scoring two good opportunist goals on Tuesday night at Oakwell he now had 11 goals for the season and is at the top of the goalscoring charts in the Championship.

And with Huddersfield losing 3-1 at Preston last night Newcastle are now essentially 4 points above the third placed team if we consider our much better goal difference.

Pardew – I kept Nagging Ashley – The Process Was Wrong

Wednesday, October 19th, 2016 · 42 Comments

Alan Pardew hs been interviewed  with Gary Lineker for The Premier League Show and among other things he has talked about his four years  at Newcastle.

Alan talks about how often the squad he had was unbalanced until he finally left the club at the end of 2014 and joined his former club Crystal Palace where has done OK and certainly has a lot more control than he ever had on Tyneside.
