Manu Has Worked Tirelessly For Us This Season

Emmanuel Riviere had a good game for Newcastle last night at Selhurst Park,  and he scored his first two goals for Newcastle this season and certainly looked the part on his performance in the 3-2 win against Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup 3rd round tie.

Let’s know who you think was Newcastle’s best player tonight in London when the Magpies beat Crystal Palace 3-2 after extra time – and that was after Palace had equalized in stoppage time and then we had Mehdi Abeid sent off 10 minutes into extra time – it was a courageous effort from the Newcastle players.

Magnificent Ten Man Newcastle Win 3-2 In Extra Time

In a game which Newcastle should have really won 2-1 in normal time – but Crystal Palace equalized in the second minute of stoppage time – to take the game to extra time, it was Paul Dummett who got the winner after Manu Riviere had scored two goals in answer to Gayle’s penalty after 25 minutes.

Make no mistake about it – this was a performance full of courage and guts from this Newcastle team tonight in London.

Palace Equalize In Stoppage Time – Newcastle Go To Extra Time
