McClaren Puts Positive Spin On Yesterday

Sunday, October 4th, 2015 · 143 Comments

Newcastle have 3 points after the first eight league games played and that´s four points worse off than we were last season when we also had a very poor start and  some fans were demonstrating against Pardew and wanted him out.

They got their wish when he left for Crystal Palace early in January and they are now 3rd top of the league with 15 points with 5 wins in their first eight league games.

Newcastle Will Have To Spend Big In January

Sunday, October 4th, 2015 · 21 Comments

If there was more proof required that center back is still Newcastle’s biggest weakness then it was there for all to see yesterday when we were mauled by Manchester  City and lost the game 6-1 and that’s the first time we have conceded six goals since we lost 6-0 to Liverpool at St. James’ Park on 27th April, 2013.

Newcastle Rock Bottom Of League In Every Category

Sunday, October 4th, 2015 · 21 Comments

The Premier League table is not good reading this morning for Newcastle fans after we were taken apart in the second half of the game at the Etihad yesterday and finally lost 6-1 to Manchester City – conceding five goals early in the second half.

And when you look at almost every stat in the league table we are the worst in the Premier League in almost every one of them.

When Are Newcastle Going To Fix Their Biggest Problem?

Sunday, October 4th, 2015 · 12 Comments

Newcastle were hammered 6-1 at Manchester City yesterday and the first half was almost a continuation of how we had played so well against Chelsea in the last game.

Newcastle went ahead through Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 18th minutes – his first goal for Newcastle – and we then scored what looked like a perfectly good goal that was disallowed for whatever reason and Mitrovic had another great chance that Joe Hart saved.

Newcastle Line Up Benik Afobe For January Move

Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 · 48 Comments

Newcastle were linked with Wolves striker Benik Afobe in the summer but at one point Steve McClaren said Newcastle were not after the England U21 striker.

But with Newcastle’s terrible  start to this season, we expect the Newcastle Board to be working hard behind the scenes to line up some players the club can bring in to strengthen the squad in the January transfer window.

Newcastle Hit Rock Bottom – Here´s What´s Wrong With Our Players

Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 · 163 Comments

Newcastle put in an excellent first half display and should have been at least two goals up after Mitrovic had opened the scoring after 18 minutes and Newcastle scored again, but it was flagged for offside.

The TV replays showed that no Newcastle players were offside and then Mitrovic had a great chance to score again – but his shot was well blocked by goalkeeper Joe Hart.

So we continued where we left off against Chelsea – but then we conceded five goals in the first 17 minutes of the second half as this Newcastle side collapsed once again.
