Newcastle Supporters Trust Launches Impressive New Site

As you may have noticed yesterday, the former Newcastle United Supporters Club is now the Newcastle United Supporters Trust, and they launched a brand new web-site.

nust

The Trust is regularly in touch with us, and we were asked  yesterday to put out a story around their new web site, and we are only too willing to do that to help out as best we can.

The NUSC, as it was known then, was started last year, by a number of  the well established Newcastle fan web-sites.

And while they seemed to get off to a rocky start at times, things have settled down a lot since then, and they are now firmly in place to help move the Tyneside club forward.

The Trust now has a wonderful opportunity of   representing the voice of  Newcastle’s legendary supporters, in dealings at the club.

As you will see from the new website, there are a variety of membership
categories now available for Newcastle fans, from all over the world, to keep in touch with the Trust.

They include corporate memberships, free e-subscriber and Supporter Club memberships, and there are also long-term memberships and concessions for students, children, the unemployed, the disabled and retired members of the community.

The NUST have not taken on an easy job, to be sure, but with good management and solid relationships within the club, they can become a force of good at Newcastle, as they represent the fans.

And the more good relationships we can create within the club, starting this season, the better it will be for everybody concerned, and especially for the club itself,  which is only temporarily in hard times right now.

See if you can support the Trust and at least the very least take a look at their impressive new and comprehensive web-site today..

Thanks,

Ed Harrison.

Sorry to change subject here, but did anybody listen to talk sport this morning on the radio? Some lad called in with a good rumour about Lomana Lua-Lua coming back. Not sure how I feel about that, not really forgiven him yet relating to the Pompey loan-goal.

I have now got my letter telling me my membership is now part of the new trust. Just to say we do not need snide remarks such as punk skunks – totally out of order and immature!

Erm… 5 clubs? Is that a bad thing? I suppose it would be if he was 22 or something, but that seems like an average record these days. I think its 5 anyway, Colechester, Toon, Pompey, Olympiacos and Al-Arabi (I think?).

Well Funny Punk Skunk…chill oot Ericles he was only messing lad.

Jay Jay…I just had to point out that Ed is not really a person…he is actually a Geordie Robot made by Toon-Tari in the 80’s…he comes across as human but it’s all in the clever design.

Fair point G. How old is he now anyway? I was just trying to make a point that in some cases players who move alot must lack commitment, ability or in mido’s case both!

I would give Lua Lua another try…funny when Bobby said he needed two balls.

I liked Lua Lua’s unpredictable play…usually ended in disaster but it was exciting…be interesting to see where his game is now..like has he improved, can he hit the target now etc…I had high hopes for him back in the day.

SJT – Troy loved Martins – he doesnt like Lua Lua as Martins can perform a triple salko somersault piked and looped when he celebrates a goal – Lua Lua couldnt do the pike – so he said he never wants to see him play for Newcastle again.

With poor gymnastics like that I cant see a way back for him.
