Newcastle Unchanged Against Blackpool

As expected Chris Hughton has fielded an unchanged side from the side that picked up a decent point at Wolves two weeks ago.

And our three new players Ben Arfa, Sol Campbell and Cheick Tiote are all on the subs bench, and we would expect at least Ben Arfa to make his debut this afternoon.

Newcastle will again play in a 4-5-1 formation with captain Kevin Nolan pushing forward as a second striker to support Andy Carroll, who is now fully recovered from his ankle injury.

The subs bench of    Krul, Campbell, R Taylor, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Ameobi  and Lovenkrands has to be one of the strongest Newcastle have had for quite a while.

Former Newcastle striker Marlon Harewood is on the bench for the Tangerines.

Three points today will see Newcastle climb the Premier League table from the 8th position they hold after the first 3 games.

Howay The Lads!!

Teams:

Newcastle United: Harper; Perch, Williamson, Coloccini, Enrique; Routledge, Smith, Barton, Gutierrez; Nolan, Carroll.
Subs: Krul, Campbell, R Taylor, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Ameobi, Lovenkrands.

Blackpool: Gilks, Eardley, Evatt, Keinan, Crainey, Vaughan, Adam, Grandin, Varney, Ormerod, Campbell
Subs: Halstead, Edwards, Southern, Phillips, Carney, Euell, Harewood,

i dont see why in the year 2010 sky cant just broadcast every game.. i would pay more if money is what they’re after

it would cut out piracy of football and give the fans what they want, plus theyd see a healthy profit and more viewers.. why oh why not?
in Dubai they show every game!!!

No they don’t. The club films the games and Sky buys the rights (along with the BBC, ESPN and various other sports channels around the world) to show the highlights.

If anything, nufc.co.uk should show them on nufctv for an extra couple of quid. I know I’d pay the extra dough

Because it costs more money to get 7 sets of filming equipment, plus the live antennas to 7 stadiums around the UK? It’s not as easy as getting a camera and hooking it up to a computer.
