Chris Hughton has told BBC Sports after the game today that he was disappointed not to get all 3 points from today’s game against Fulham, but was pleased with Newcastle’s spirited performance.
Chris thought that Fulham’s Mark Schwarzer was the difference, with some excellent saves for the London side, and kept Newcastle from winning the game.
Chris also said that he thought Andy Carroll had another outstanding game, and that Andy has continued to improve his game, even this season, and now has a lot more mobility than he used to have.
We have to hope Andy gets the England call-up tonight – he deserves it.

Comment #1I think we genuinely have three possibilities for the national team and if Joey had not lifted his hands then it could have been four

Comment #2Yeah me too, but Give Fulham some credit.
Especially Hangeland or whatever his name is, covered Carroll like a badly fitting overcoat, grabbed him, tripped him, you name it and the ref. did`nt call a thing, ah well !
Gotta say our latino pair of Jonas and El Toro, played their asses off and the defense improves with each game.
Think we edged Fulham , but missed our chances, there`s just no easy games in this division and points are hard to come by, but hey!no complaints with 7th. place.
