Newcastle Get Stevenage Away In FA Cup

Newcastle United have been drawn away at Stevenage in the third round of the FA Cup, to be played on the 8th or 9th January next year.

The tie will bring back memories of of 1998, when Newcastle finally beat the then non-league side after a replay, having drawn away at Broadhall Way.

But Stevenage were promoted to the Football League last season, and are currently placed 11th in League Two.

Manchester United drew Liverpool at Old Trafford.

    I seem to remember singing ‘Are you Sunderland in disguise’ the last time we played them in the cup… those words came back to haunt me when we had to go to replay!
