This is from my girlfirend – lets start Smithgate – she and I both waited yonks for Nicky Butt to go (as mentioned in another post!) and thank god he did….now its the same with Smith….he is a terrible excuse ofa footballer!!! I know everyone played poor today but Smith was…..ggrrrrrr, awful!!!! n to all of those ‘he gives 110%’….p*ss off!!!!i could give 110% but i wouldnt get a game, would i???!! my dog lily could give 110% for that matter and neither would she…..fergie is no mug and we all know why he sold him to us when he did, along with Mr. Butt!! 65K a week for smith….its like these people who pick up the dole for being blind or summit when they’re not blind….sorry, he fills the 2 of us with rage….!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

what we dont want to do is blame the players for this, erm , whatever you want to call it , performance is not suitable , stunned as i am , surprised not! Players perform on confidence, when that is taken away the result is inevitable , reading pardews interview about this game a few days ago , i thought what was the point on even playing this game? he was talking like a nervous lamb going to the slaughter, then hey ho , what happens? we are beaten before that ref blows that first whistle, exept we looked like 11 nervous lambs ready to be executed for our sunday lunch, such was the impact of our managers ( and i use that term lightly)ccomments that the only thing that he instilled into the team was FEAR .you can argue as much as you want about the sending off , but it was a red card , teotie is a great player BUT he does get booked a lot and he is a bit rash sometimes, but he needs to learn , 2 feet off the ground, is a booking or a red, no matter if he got the ball or not im afraid pards has put his stamp on this club there is only one way now , unless we can force him out, lets face it he is not going to be sacked, even if that was a sackible showing only the fans can force him out

I like Smith, but he forgot how to play football.

We need a center midfielder, like

Perch is a very, very bad right back, and he is worse at left back.

Please, sign Chris Baird, great Right Back of Fulham, has a good pass, good cross.

The only winger that don’t know cross is Routledge. It’s a shame.

Volesak is a good winger, can play at Right and Left midfielder.

And buy Demba Ba, of Hoffenheim. He know shot, has good dribble and he is speed.

Did any of you heard Alan Pardew BBC post game interview blames fatigue for the result says after west ham game “the havent trained” 2 days of rest and there still tired instead of playing good for nothing players like smith and pearch! play the youngsters who are hungry and “rested” tottaly unacceptable

i think alan smith should be sacked for being totally useless!!!

We were an absolute disgrace, not for one minute do I blame Pardew for this result. He picked a very good side, even better than what I thought.

There were alot of players in that side who lost the plot, who didnt perform . ie Nolan (who was non existant the whole game), Williamson (who found his true level of league standard), Routledge (cant cross to save his life), Perch (just awful), Smith (who for me was a total disgrace and should never play for Newcastle again, he provides absolutley nothing to the team and provides no protection to the back 4) Ranger (who is never ever going to be a top player, cant finish)

Id have been happier for players like Kadar, Ferguson, Donaldson, Guthrie, Soderberg to have been given a game.

Dont even get me started on Krul!!! Sorry but he is sh1te!! Give no confidence to the back four, doesnt organise his back 4, doesnt shout like Harper does, and cant even clear the ball properly under pressure….remember Man City?? Very average keeper, get Forster back when his loan finishes and sell Krul for a few million.

Just hope Tiote gets his red card overturned…was a massive error by the ref and by Pardew for even putting him on, he has been booked loads this season and any challenge (in the situation we were in) would have been in anger from Tiote which in the refs eyes would have been a sending off…which is what happened.

Roll on Sunday, just hope the real Newcastle United stands up!!!

stuart no9 couldnt agree more he is a totaly sub standard player, but unfortunately pardew will continue to feel the need to play him as he views him to be an integral part of our positive sqaud morale and therefore he percives smiths hapiness to be related to the morale of the entire squad

come off it stuartno9. he put a strong team out who didnt preform for one minute theres no excuses that team should be able to win comfortably, all pardew can do is send them out on the pitch, as long as pardew learns something about certain players from this and doesnt pick them again.

Yes am peed off cos we played abbismal and got tortured off them am also peed off with the fact pardew put tiote on now hes banned for mackem game..a think we would of been better off attacking takin smith off bringin ferguson on and puttin barton and nolan in centre

This was never Pardews fault. If he had played the younger players and lost people would of moaned he wasn`t interested, he plays a strong team that should of hammered them and its still his fault no way, the players were shite!

Thud and Blunder I completely agree Krul is SHITE! not a bad shot stopper everytime i`ve seen him play i`ve thought your shit lol

smith was a disgrace tonight…time to ship him and his high wages out of the toon….offers nothing, he is a liability, were not paying this player ridiculous wages to be good around the dressing room…il do that for nothing if thats what there looking for

nolan, barton should have been rested tonight, nolan especially was not at the races tonight, colo should have been rested too

young lads such as kadar, fergusion, guthrie & vuckic should have been given a run

after watching lovendkrands and routledge over the season, they are not premier league class

    gutted about tiote

sorry mate i think your wrong, you can put 11 shearers , or 11 messies on the pitch, however if you have a manager, whos comments before this game were totally negative(his interview on thursday i think on this blog)it was a knocking bet the reaction was going to be of a similar mindset, we were beat before we went out. you even said yourself, he put a strong team out , i find it a bit strange, that NONE of them performed, exept J B maybe, ” and learn things from certain players and dont pick them again” but that was practically the whole team , pardew has ripped the heart and soul out of our team , which is what was expected of him , taking into account his cv

Me? I’m not to worried. I mean I did ask myself “what the Ef is happening here”. And Tiote is a hell of a big loss. But if there is anything I have noticed about us is when we go down to a “smaller club” and we have a big match following, we come out fighting. Blackpool followed by Everton, Bolton followed by Chelsea, West Brom followed by Liverpool. I don’t think we should worry to much about Tiotes ban, Gosling should be fit and hungry. Anyway, it’s only the Mackems 🙂

how many managers say stuff like that when theres a big team little team draw in the cup though? doesnt mean thats what he said to the players in the dressing room.

i have never liked people calling for a managers head and have always thought stability is key. always seems like peole have a knee jerk reaction, we keep 2 cleansheets and win 1-0 and 5-0 and people are saying europe here we come then we get beat like today and its sack the manager.

like i said as long as the likes of perch and smith get nowhere near the team against sunderland then at least pardew has learned something from today

yep i agree, i know ranger is young and he is still learning his trade, but wednesday proved that he is not ready for NUFC . the bottom line is he is a strikerwho cant even buy a goal at the minute, chopra comes to mind, has nt stopped scoring since he left, now the time for ranger to leave, for his own good

    out
    smith, xisco, perch, guthrie
    in
    taarabt, ziani, larrson, van annholt
