Kadar, Dummet Get International Calls – Donaldson Sent On Loan

Good news today that Tamas Kadar has again been called up for the full Hungary squad.

Tamas Kadar – called up by Hungary again

Tamas missed the Huddersfield 0-0 draw at home to Colchester United on Saturday, due to a hamstring injury.

The 20-year-old defender won his very first cap against Lithuania last November, although he was called up back in the summer of 2008 to the full squad but was injured in training at that time.

He made his debut at  left back, and of course he is currently on a one month loan at Huddersfield Town, where former Newcastle player and coach is the manager.

Tamas picked up the injury during their game against Walsall during the first half, and has been out ever since.

Tamas is still expected to be fit for Hungary’s friendly against Azerbaijan on February 9th, which will be played at the Al-Shabab Stadium in Dubai.

Paul Dummet

And Newcastle local youngster Paul Dummett has been included in the Welsh under-21 squad for their friendly against Northern Ireland, to be played at Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground, also on Wednesday, February 9th.

The left-back,  from Kenton School in Newcastle, was first called up by Wales Under 18s in June of 2008, because his father is Welsh, and the 19 year old has been with the Newcastle United Academy for a full 10 years.

His Newcastle hero is Steven Taylor, another local lad who has captained the England U21 side, and Steven, who turned 25 yesterday, is contracted to the club until the summer of 2016.

Ryan Donaldson

And finally 19 year old midfielder Ryan Donaldson has gone on a one month loan to Hartlepool, it was announced by Sky Sports tonight.

The England under-19 international has only just returned to training following a knee injury that he suffered last month, and he now goes straight into the Hartlepool squad for the League One game with Notts County tomorrow night at Victoria Park.

It’s good to see the Newcastle youngsters getting International call-ups – and also Ryan will now get some playing time at Hartlepool United, and joins quite a few of Newcastle youngsters out on loan at other clubs.

Comments welcome.

Redknapp says hed like him to stay and fight but wont stand in his way.. also its great to read you sayin Elmander is a proven striker in epl cos he’s scored a few goals this season he hasnt scored in about 8 games and as av said around 20 goals in over 3 seasons

who would you drop when ben arfa is back to play a quick striker or would you keep barton out wide right where he has done well but isn’t his ideal pos, doesn’t really like playing and sometimes drifts infield anyway i just think that limiteds the use off his talents

very good news about our yungsters by the way. Our academy is looking very strong these days. I think we need to invest in more infrastructure, do we have an actual academy center? does anybody have any info for me on our academy set up?

Yes I have seen El-arabi play, I watch french football. He’s the third top scorer in Ligue 1, and he has played wide most of the season but could play up front too.

It’s not just Emlander’s goals I like, it’s his link up play, his touch, the goal he scored against Wolves this season was class. I don’t think he’s an out and out goalscorer but contributes to the team. He’s a bit similar to Carroll but I still think they could play together, e.g they way he has played with Davies.

    free shite,

dempsey is a natural right winger/midfielder but can play at a high level anywhere in the midfield or as a outright striker, and right now with our injury problems it would be quite nice to have a player as good as him able to fit in wherever we need him, thats the point you scam artist piece of shite, get off this site and take your spam with you cuz your ruining this site that us lads have been coming to for years to talk shop…

Mancgeordie.. for me it would depend on who we signed because if we sign Ireland am guessin Joey is stayin on the right as irelands a nolan type player but with pace..a think tbh Jonas will be the one left out but i would rather have Jonas and Benny playin in the same team could be one lethal forward line:
    Harper
    Simo-Saylor-Colo-Jose
    Barton-Tiote-Nolan
    Benny——–Jonas
    ——–Carroll

Davies is a completly dif player to carroll though hes a ball winner and a link up player with good feet very very similar to Elmander we need a pacey striker who is a good finisher..how about Scott Sinclair he’s learnt down at Swansea and would be a good foil for Carroll plus would only cost around £2million max and hes only 21

I had a funny dream last light. Andy Carroll had just picked up his wages and asked me to take care of them while he got a drink. It was sacks of £ 1 coins. When I asked him why. Well he proved to me that he’s not daft. Coins are a lot harder to steal than large Denomination notes.

jonas is seldom injured and played in the world cup so i doubt he has had a rest in a while due to our thin squad and injury problems.
i admit that he is not the best passer of the ball but he causes panick in opposition defences and he has looked like he has regained his form in the last few games, but many on here seem to have very short memories and i am unsure if everyone is really a newcastle supporter as many have no faith in some of our players

no way on earth we can sign Pablo Piatti.. although he is absalutly amazing i may add ive seen quite alot of him this season cos i watch alot of spanish football and he is unbelievably good.. would cost us atleast 10million like but would be low on wages talkin like 20k/30k per week.. and supposidly Ashleys after a big signing too show intent to the premier league and our fans.. but i dont believe it although i would love too

Spuggy@ Strange kind of rumour its a player we have never been linked with, but i have seen him in Argentina and for Almeria and this guy is a game changer, recently saw him in a game he scored a cracked seems to be a player like Arfa/Tarrabt so maybe a player TYPE we may be after as it seems Pardew was looking at Adel Taarabt. Pablo is a TOP quality player and at Almeria they are not the biggest team and he has always been tipped to leave in most windows. Also a chance to come to the EPL with a team with other Argies in Jonas and Colo he could jump at the chance but the FEE would be BIG, they paid a club record for him so wouldnt expect the 6+ Million ATLEAST but if Ashley is tight buying a GREAT 21 Year old may be a good long term investment. god i hope this rumour is true tho one of the best players ive seen us being linked with, Shame Demba Ba has gone to Hammers on loan 🙁 would of done a great job for us!!!

But if thats what HE WANTS then we could haggle a little lower and chuck in some clauses of how many games played or pay certain parts of the cash 12 Months+ down the time we could get him for an inital 7.5 Million which is steep but then again a good investment for the future worst comes to worst if he doesnt settle sell him back to LA LIGA for 5£ Mill not much lost

Jonas in my view comes in for some unjust crticism…he works hard for the team and has obviously got an excellent relationship with Enrique…granted he’s not the best crosser of the ball because it isn’t his game to hit the byeline and deliver crosses, although he is working hard at adapting his game to deliver more crosses which can only be a good thing which shows his commitment to improve his game. He is an excellent outlet for our counter attacking game as he can run with the ball at full speed, unfortunately he is often left isolated at this moment due to his teamates either unable to keep up with him or waiting for a delivery in the box…i think when HBA returns to hopefully play a free role behind Carroll, we will see the best from Jonas as HBA seems to have the pace and confidence to roam and will join in with Jonas and Enrique…i’m licking my lips at the thought of that trio working together providing a more creative force to the team…
