Newcastle Midfielder Sent Out On Loan To Leyton Orient

Kazenga LuaLua was sent out on loan earlier this summer, to Brighton until January, and now another Newcastle youngster has been sent out on loan to get some first team games.

Michael Richardson – sent on a month’s loan to Leyton Orient

News this afternoon that Leyton Orient have completed the signing of Newcastle United midfielder Michael Richardson on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old was signed on by Newcastle only a year ago from local club Walker Central, and the youngster had a very good first season on Tyneside,  and impressed in the Newcastle Reserve side.

Michael was on the bench a few times towards the end of last season, although he has yet to appear for Newcastle in a competitive senior game, but he is highly thought of at the club.

Alan Pardew is keen to loan out the youngsters so they can get first team games, that can aid their development, and there will be a lot more of the Newcastle youngsters who will be sent out on loan before September rolls around.

Frank Pringle says that the groundsman told him that Overtan had signed. It’s at the top of this thread if you read upwards.

Obertan is being linked by the Ronnie Gill because Barnetta has an injury and Pardew says he spoke to Fergie at ManUre about twatter, plus Obertan is French. 1+1 and all that. Make perfect sense if you can’t be ar$ed to leave your journo’s desk

Seems to be that if Barnetta is knacked it make sense for us to sign him anyway. We signed Gosling and paid him for a year. And he looks good now.

obertan is pants. ferguson sees a crap player and throws him. we are his.favorite dumping ground. cant belive most thinks hes a great signing because of a youtube video. at best hes jonas backup. speaks volumes. that signing is of desperation.

Obertan wasn’t involved in tonights testemonial. There could well be some truth in this.
About his end product, lets hope S. Stone and Carver gets him to work hard on it if he indeed signs up.

The community shield? Surely they will jump at the chance to have a manchester derby match with a title on the line?

Or since it doesn’t have a London team do they not care?

So he must have a bit of talent.
