As we had expected 19 year-old Haris Vuckic will make his full league debut for Newcastle United tonight against West Bromwich Albion.
The Slovenian Under 21 international midfielder has already made three sub appearances for Newcastle this season, and he gets his big chance tonight.
Vuckic came on against Swansea after 82 minutes last Saturday, and we thought that may be a prelude to Alan Pardew starting him tonight.
The team is otherwise unchanged from Saturday, and as expected Italian International Davide Santon keeps his place at left-back, even though Ryan Taylor is fit again, and Ryan is on the bench.
And James Perch keeps his place alongside captain Fab Coloccini after a sound performance on Saturday, although a fit again Mike Williamson may be drafted into the side at Bolton next Monday afternoon.
Ben Arfa will hope to see some action tonight, after he has not seen any action in the last two games, but if Newcastle can get on top, we could well see the Frenchman in the second half.
Newcastle really need a win tonight, having not won in their last five matches, and with Stoke playing at Manchester City tonight, the Magpies could go 6 points clear of the 8th placed side by this evening.
All we need is a win!
Howay The Lads!!

Comment #10Another chance too for Santon to cement his place in the team. Looking for some nice crosses from him today. Shit, imagine if both our wingers and fullbacks could cross a ball? Ba could be nearing 20 by now. 😉

Comment #18FIrst time commenting lads but ive read and followed this blog for a long time, I am really looking forward to tonights game, I have faith in young Vuckic and believe this is one of the biggest games in his career, i know he has played for the under21s and called up to the first team without playing. But your full premier league debut, in front on 52,000. What more could you ask! HWTL 3-0 newcastle, with Best getting 2…. Also a few links here if anyones struggling….. http://www.footballstreaming.info/streams/todays-links/

Better to not play a £5 mill player than a £35 or £50 mill player don’t u think?
Don’t be daft lad… I think u’re the one who’s clueless here, Best and Ba links up well.

Comment #25like i said on the last post, subtly, because obviously getting up in arms over it means i’ll be cemented next to the neggers, but
i agree with playing a 442
i agree with both ba’s and best’s inclusions
I strongly disagree with leaving HBA on the bench….again. If he can’t play the “number 10 role” effectively, then put him on the wing, the place he’s played his entire life. and i don’t want to hear one more peep about him not tracking back because as far as I’ve seen, Obertan does more standing around than HBA, and I think Obertan is still effective at getting back. HBA never dismissed his defensive duties, not once. It’s just a moot (and wrong) analysis of how we historically think of what we consider “luxury” players. HBA does track back and he does work hard for the team. Just a joke we expect him to be at his best against three of the top ten teams in the world and bench him when he could quite possibly prove most effective against your “run of the mill” prem teams. still distraught. Looking forward to seeing Vuckic but I think a CM role is too deep for him. anyway, HTL

Comment #27@Ali and Dannyo: You are both delusional. We all know the only reason that Ben Arfa isn’t being played is because Pardew has a personal vendetta against him! I mean look at this scintillating evidence!

Comment #40Tiote told Sky Sports News: “I am flattered by clubs interested but there is nothing official.”
“When teams such as Chelsea, City, Liverpool, United are interested in you it makes you think twice, but I love Newcastle, I belong to Newcastle and I enjoy my life here.”
hes going then….;)
