Proud Pardew – The Newcastle Fans Give Us The Power

You just have to watch the interviews Alan Pardew gave after yesterday’s great 2-0  win at Bolton,  and you can see how much he seems to love the Newcastle fans and being the Magpies’ manager.

Alan Pardew – delighted for Newcastle fans yesterday

And there was a great shot of him at the end of the game with Ben Arfa, which we are showing above,  as he waves and claps to the over 4,000 Newcastle fans who made the trip to Bolton yesterday, and were rewarded with a win for the first time in seven games.

Newcastle United are known throughout the world for their fantastic and passionate support, and that was again in full evidence yesterday.

And those of you who are reading this and make these trips to support the lads, be clear that you make a huge difference to the players and the team.

It turns out that  Alan Pardew told his players  that they couldn’t let the fans down at the Reebok Stadium, and they didn’t,  and there were a number of heroes for the Magpies in yesterday’s game:

  • Tim Krul made another world class save from Martin Petrov when it was 0-0 late in the first half
  • Gabriel Obertan showed why he can still become a great right winger for Newcastle with some time
  • Ben Arfa came on after 61 minutes and completely changed the game in Newcastle’s favor,  and scored the all important first goal
  • Coloccini had another top class match at the back and another captain’s performance from the Argentine
  • Mike Williamson looked like he had never been away,  even though that was his first game back for over four months

And it was great to see all the Newcastle players  go to applaud the Newcastle fans at the final whistle, and the lads had finally broken their six game streak without a win.

This is what a proud Alan Pardew said today to the local press:

“I have said we are a big club, and I told our players we had to play like a big club,”

“When you see 4,000 fans at that end, it shows you why we are Newcastle United. It gives us the power.”

“Good teams can deliver on cue. We needed a win and to get out of the rut, and we’ve done that. We were more disciplined, and we got a thoroughly deserved win.”

The transfer season will be starting next Sunday, but Pardew refused to even  talk about that to the local press today.

Alan was  still basking in the glow of being the Newcastle United manager after another league win, the eighth of the  season.

And who can blame him?

It’s never been easy supporting Newcastle,  but wins like this make it more than worthwhile.

Howay The Lads!!

Well, in fact, the only rumours i heard about a defender concern… another Montpellier’s player.

    Yanga M’biwa.

Some NUFC’s scout were seen recently in Montpellier, and some journalists say they Overseen both Giroud and Yanga M’biwa.

If it can reassure you, people are now talking far much more of NUFC than previously, and most of them think you’re a great club.

Observers are sceptics about how high the club can finish in the standings, bu the club is respected in France, especially cause of the fans.

Would be expansive however. And a lot of clubs will track him.

Don’t see him leaving his club this winter, but probably next summer.

M’biwa is 22 two years old. THe fact i’m a fan of NUFC or not is subject to a controversy between myself and some other people here.

They tell me i’m a fan, but i can honnestly tell that considering i follow the team closely since only one year, and i never came to St James.

I hope to do that before the end of the season, ask me again at this moment.

Anyway, i can’t say i feel nothing for this team, but it’s quiet different from what old geordies who were raised in NUFC worshiping could feel.

I suppose old fans love the team same way we love our mothers. I love it same way i would love a girl.

So this is maybe more intense, but also less deep.

Man United are to make a shock move for Andy Carroll in the January transfer window. Apparently they want to have Shrek AND Donkey up front.

Anyone is watching the Arsenal game?
What a heroic game by the Wolves GK. And what a horrible tactic by their manager and players. Yes, they are 10 down, so try to hold the ball, on the flanks. They are just giving it away and defending over and over again and Arsenal are coming at them with these waves.

Go to go. A good joke before:

Cristiano, Balloteli and Ibrahimovic got a drink in a bar.

Balloteli say:” Lads, last night, God talked to me in my dreams. He said i’m the best player in the world!”

Cristianno Roanldo answered:”You’re a liar, for last night, god talked to ME! He said no one can stop me when i want to score, and thusfar, i’m not only the best player in the world, bu the best in history!”

Finally, Ibrahimovic said: “Sorry lads, but i don’t told anything to anyone last night.”

….we really need a centre back striker and a winger who can cross regualy un january

Thats true..when Rtylor cross comes in..there a person waiting inline ready to strike, rake a look at the replay and you can see the BenAfra is following the run of the ball and sees that cross coming and waitng for the cross .., not other players was beside him. he got a clean strike.

The name Jan Vertonghen keeps popping up in connection with us. Would love to have him come in. He even pops in the odd goal. Would be great alongside Colo but I think Colo is gone in the summer as he won’t take a pay cut and we’re too cheap to pay him properly now that Ashley knows how good Carr is.

we have a chance to have 33 points before the new year?!?!!! incredible job by pards this season really has a grasp of the lads and who needs to play and who doesn’t been a lot of second guessing on these boards early as to why Raylor and Obertan were always in the starting 11 but really have done a nice job Raylor has been one of the unsung players of the year for the club so far and Oba well he is learning as we go and definitely growing so please everyone support him. The squad has got some real class to it and when everyone is on there game we can certainly play with the best of them so cheers to the lads and may they go get all 3 pts friday. HWTL!!
