Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has no worries about his Senegal striker, Demba Ba, who hasn’t scored for all of three games.
Demba Ba – in action in 3-0 win over Man United
Of course he has gone close a few times and missed a penalty during that time, and even at Norwich it took a brilliant save from Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy in the first half, to deny the 26 year-old his 17th goal of the season.
Another way to put it is the Senegal striker has scored just one goal in the six games, since returning from the African Cup of Nations, where he also failed to notch any goals for Senegal.
Alan Pardw isn’t worried at all about his striker, because he sees a confident Demba Ba in training:
“If he showed any signs of lacking confidence then I would be concerned, but I don’t see that in Demba,”
“Especially in training, he just focuses his mind more to improve himself.” “So I have no worries about that.”
Demba Ba is a great professional, and it must be good for him to have his Senegal striker partner – Papiss Cisse – at the same club, and both lads seem very happy on Tyneside.
And of course we aren’t worried about Ba one little bit, because we know he now has a full supply of the elixir that allows him to score so many goals – that secret syrup – it’s strawberry syrup to those in the know.
And we also have been told that Newcastle owner Mike Ashley recently spared no expense to ensure an adequate supply of the syrup, for Newcastle’s brilliant free agent from West Ham.
It’s serious stuff, this supply of strawberry syrup.
We’d be surprised if the big man doesn’t get a goal at West Brom on Sunday afternoon – very surprised.
Howay The Lads!!

Comment #1On this day, seven heavenly rotations from now, at 17.00 hrs, he shall return to us.
It has been prophised and so it shall be, it is now written in scripture and so it shall be, I am the word of him and so it shall be.
He will rise again. He shall return to save you from this masquearade. False prophets will fall and the valley shall burn, optimism shall give way to hope and he will be the one to deliver it to you and deliver you from yourselves.

It does not matter that you do not believe HE can save you for he shall save you anyway.
The blog will be cleansed of trolls, unwashed souls and false prophets. He shall show you the way and liberate your words and allow you the freedom to speak your mind.

Comment #13Howay the toon. Keep up these performances for the last 9 games, and keep us where we are in the table at least, and next season will be something to really look forward to. I can’t wait to see who we pick up in the summer. A Berbatov or something mental like that is what I’m seeing.
