This Newcastle Player Simply Outstanding On Loan

James Tavernier is having a great loan spell at Rotherham United, and he has proved over the last few months that he is turning into a very good player and has 5 goals for the club from his right back position.

James Tavernier – works hard in training
James had scored twice in the 2-1 win against Bristol City last week and it was a Tom Hitchcock hat-trick yesterday that got Rotherham another win – 4-3 at Gillingham.

They were 3-2 down after 84 minutes until Hitchcock got two late goals to get them the win and James Tavernier again played the whole game at right-back.

This is what Rotherham assistant manager Paul Raynor has said about Tavernier, and he’s compared him to David Beckham – at least in training:

“I see James out there training and he is working on his free-kicks all the time.” “When I was with David at Preston, I saw how hard he worked on them and how he was practicing free-kicks all the time.”

“Well I have seen James doing that, and there are other people here wanting to do extra, there’s days when you’ve got to drag them off the training ground.”

“Work hard, practice and you get your rewards.”

Those are good words from the manager.

Haris Vuckic was an unused substitute yesterday for Rotherham.

Rotherham have now moved up to 3rd top of League one after 40 games played, and are only six points behind third placed Brentford, so there;s a decent chance Rotherham can be promoted this season.

It’s good to hear that James is doing some hard work in training, and he;ll be looked at closely in pre-season to see if he can challenge for a place in the Newcastle first team, although it’s expected that Newcastle will bring in another right back this summer.

James, who is now 22, has played 21 times for Rotherham this season with 5 goals.

Why did Gosling get a game yesterday when he’s leaving in the summer. Shouldn’t we thinking about playing players who may have a future at the club instead of players that definitely haven’t.

I guess after this dismal run of results since new year you all now realise results don’t matter at newcastle…so long as the gambling debts are continuing to be re-paid and the club stays in the premiership…nothing else matters.

Wish I knew what could be done…at my lowest ebb right now…it’s tragic.

Interesting news that Psg have set there targets on two high profile midfielder’s this summer in the shape of Eden hazard and Paul pogba for a combined fee of around 80m. If cabs cant get in the starting line up now he has no chance if Psg land there prospective targets

Come on mate do you really think Pardew is going to walk away from Nufc.He aint going to get another gig like this and on such a massive contract. If we were fortunate to rid our selves of Percy at best he will end up in the championship wher he belongs

the only blessing in disguise is he’ll never work in the premiership again because even though he’s currently un-sackable….he’s shown the world how totally inept he truly is.

hopefully he’ll fall back on gambling and women and end up back in the gutter again forever and ever amen

Looks like benny is getting it in the ear off good old John Carver the dinosaur now too! Anyone else think that john’s starting to see things like pardspew? Fcuking disgraceful! if I was benny I’d get the fcuk outta here sharpish, he’s clearly not appreciated by his manager and gets told to defend more than attack and when he fails in defending (which he’s shit at) he gets berated or dropped! Can’t win can he

So Pardew’s excuse to our latest humiliation on the pitch was due to injuries lol This bloke really is clueless and clutching at straws. The only players I can think of being injured were Krul, Sissoko, Debuchy and Remy. That’s nothing compared to Man U who had their reserves out ffs! I know they still have quality in their ranks but hell we could have and should have taken advantage of that situation. Or if all else failed why not introduce Armstrong for some much needed experience or any other youngster that’s on the fringes, but noooooo he brings on his pathetic bum-chum Shola for another stroll before he retires, and what did Strolla do again? lol It’s beyond a sick joke and Pardew has been shown up once again. Pack it in already will you.

Now I want us to finish outside the top 10 maybe it will force Ashley to sack him and bring an end to the anti-football and clueless Pardew serves us week in week out.

That’s another thing Pardew take your useless backroom staff with you!! Carver Out!! Steve Stone Out!! Dinosaurs in the game. Blaming the scapegoat Ben Arfa. It beggars belief how pathetic and clueless our coaches and manager really are!

I feel so sorry for Ben Arfa, he could be a superstar in any other team. If only we had Roberto Martinez as manager for example he would relish in having the potency of a player of Ben Arfa’s calibre.

Fcuk off Pardew and your cronies!

welshgeordie9 – Don’t start again with this crap supporting our mindless manager and coaches. Please stop it’s pathetic. Again don’t generalize as I have more wisdom than you any day and I am not 17, much older in fact.

If you still can’t realize how poor our manger and coaches are you’re just as bad as them.
