An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

I just did kept it simple.
I’m not going to send a email asking a lot of questions I only have one.
How is Alan Pardew still in a job with probably the worst record and run of games ever?
Leaving him in charge of NUFC is as effective as bump starting a car by pushing it up hill!
Please do something if your even remotely bothered about the club.
There’ll be zero response!

Comment #7Aarons came on and did more with his time on the ball than anybody else did for the other 70! Start bringing him on more often with a view to start matches. He’s got a bright future ahead of him if today is his consistency.

Little mate, not much of an argument there.. That was a shambles from back to front. Ashley doesn’t help though. When Palace scored after 40 seconds, they flashed to him smirking and playing on his phone.
We need a centre forward. Riviere, as much as I’m trying to give him a chance is poor. Without an actual goalscorer, we have no chance. Without a goalscorer and a half decent defence, Pardew has little option but to piss in the wind.
I want rid of Pardew, but he has a worse hand then last year imo. At least we had a goalscorer.

Comment #22Problems today:
• No closing down
• shocking defence, panic every time palace attacked.
• lack of tactical awareness from the players no reading of the game.
• Too rigid system just doesn’t suit players like Cabella, De Jong or Rivière.
• Again with the defence and midfield we leave gaping holes.
• No confidence in flair players abilities to take on defenders, no expressiveness. (Aarons an exception)

Comment #24thump and Catchy…Pulis got Palace playing some very good football at the endif last season. He never ever ever parked the bus…he just had a well organised defence as a foundation and got his pacey wingers doing what they do best…not defending!

Comment #26What we learned today :
. Pardew is still a clueless chump
. Gouffran isn’t fit to lace 18 year old Aarons boots.
. Rivierre is no Remy, not even close
. Our defence is still poor.
. Haidara is much better than Dummet.
. 4-2-3-1 doesn’t work for us .
. What has happened to Sissoko ?
. Cabella has done nothing since joining, and was at fault for their final goal trying to do tricks. If that was Ben Arfa there would have been hell on.
. We severely miss Ben Arfa
.All our goals today were hardly well crafted and we look clueless in front of goal
. If we don’t bring anyone else in relegation is still a real possibility

Comment #27@Lilongwe I don’t understand your criticism of Riviere and this thought that a new striker will improve things.
What is happening to Riviere is exactly what happened to Cisse. And is exactly what would happen to Falcao or Costa or Aguero or any top striker in our team.
Pardew’s system isolates the striker and confines him to basically a holding striker role. AKA Mark Viduka but with nobody else around to help. It doesn’t matter who is up front, the end result is always going to be the same.

lilo i weren’t haven a pop at the people that didn’t mate it was at the people who said he was this great dm that pardew can’t see and have heard since he signed for us hes been shocking there every time plus i remember when we signed him he was very inconsistent for toulouse
and i agree we battered them really but our final ball or cross weren’t good enough but we certainly didn’t look bad or shocking, once it clicks i feel we’ll look good but i suppose i’m deluded!

Comment #29Pulis, howay man, you can’t knock Pardew for shit football and want Pulis. If people hadn’t moaned about style, then yeah, as Pulis is more effective, but too many have complained about style, so wanting Pulis is hypocritical.
White, Clement, Bilic, all sorts of options.

kevin keegan walked out because of issues over transfers
shearer refused a contract over the transfer policy
chris hughton probably gets sacked because he was much more against the carroll sale than pardew would be.

Comment #37Has to be Aarons, Gouffran looks inept on the left and he changed the game. Not saying that he has to be thrown into the fire straight away, but he needs more minutes. Also, let’s try not to mess up his development like Campbell, Streete, and Furguson. Please?

We struggled against palace at home and tbh if it is not for aarons we would have lost. We were lucky at the Zaha offside and crystal palace were the better side. How I wish I woke up next morning to the news of pardew’s sacking, that man is clueless, his 4-2-3-1 tactics sucks and the players under him will never perform well. #pardewout
But doubt he will get the sack because he is ashley’s dog.

no , sorry, i just dont see it, i think our squad is stronger, i just think without a real organizer leading them, we look lost,
like i just said, SDJ has been fit for 3 weeks, what have they been working on? how are they trying to get him into the game,
cabella, is gifted, but i see no end product,
and its not because of the CF, Cisse showed he can score, but has no real service,
against palace today 42311, i see no sense in our formations at all, goofy ? what is he doing on the pitch???.
if goofy is on the pitch for ever how long he is, we are a man down right now,
these are managers choices
4 shots on target today, palace had 7
as for mike, he was reading pardews excuse
