Newcastle are at West Brom on Sunday in an early kick off game and we have a chance to win our 5th game in a row – if we can again play well like we’ve done over the last couple of games.
Alan Pardew – Newcastle manager
West Brom are a well organized side under new manager Alan Irvine, but we did get a 3-1 win at the Hawthorns at the end of March, 2012 when we eventually won six league games in a row and finished 5th top.
We were 3-0 up in that game after just 34 minutes with two goals from Cisse and one from Ben Arfa.
We’d take that result again on Sunday.
And Pardew is one of four nominees for the Manager the Month award for October, when we won three and drew one – and the Londoner must have a decent chance of winning, given the turnaround at the club.
Alan last won the award last November when Tim Krul was also the Player of the Month.

Comment #2I know we have had some fantastic results recently and as much as i want us to win this game, im going for a draw. We always seem to play well against the top teams and then shoot ourselves in the foot against teams i think we should be winning. I definately dont think we will lose but im 50-50 on win or draw. This game is more important then the liverpool game imo because we will see if they can perform against weaker teams. Lets see how Alan handles it.

Comment #3Get at them using our pace, get in the box and then nick a goal or 2. Need to keep that organisations at back though. Wouldn’t mind Beriho maybe nicking a goal – got him in my dreamteam.
