Newcastle fans are not too confident of getting our second successive home win tomorrow night, when we entertain Manchester United at St. James’ Park.

John Carver – needs another win

Fans were not too confident of beating Aston Villa on Saturday, when only 41% of fans thought we could get the win – but a win it was and we needed it.

It takes us up to a respectable 35 points from 27 game played, and it’s hard to think now that we could get involved in a relegation scrap.

Maybe I shouldn’t have said that? 😀

Only one fans in four thinks we can win the game tomorrow night against the Red Devils.

So our Newcastle players have nothing to lose – they are not really expected to win.

So they should go all out and try to get another win against a top side – like we’ve already done against Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City (League Cup) so far this season.

That will certainly help raise the spirits at Newcastle.

8th February, 2024

An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.

And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.

There are no treatments left for me to go on.

I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.

It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.

I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
