This Player Has No Future At Newcastle

Sammy Ameobi was given a two year extension to his contract at Newcastle in the summer in the off-chance he could still come through and have a future at Newcastle – but to do that he would need to have an outstanding season at Championship club Cardiff City but that´s not happening.

Sammy Ameobi in Cardiff´s colors – back to blue

Sammy is not a regular starter at the club and on Sunday at home to Bristol City Sammy missed an absolute sitter that could have given Cardiff City the much needed 3 points.

Sammy wasn´t consistent enough when he played for Newcastle and we cannot see him returning to his home town club.

If we can sell him in the summer we will, otherwise he will loaned out again for the final year of his contract.

Cardiff City are in 8th place in the Championship table with 21 points from 13 league games.

Here´s that miss – incredible.

He’s probably their best player right now. His fitness is shocking apparently which is why he is coming off the bench. He’s still cack like.

Actually Ed, I thought it was a decent effort from a difficult position. But then as a follower of football for over sixty years what do I know.

I’d be very shocked if the Colo red card gets over turned.

I’ve seen plenty like that given. You need to be smart when barging the opponent, Colo made that way too obvious.

If he was Serbian we’d just say ‘at least he was getting into attacking positions’. Of course he’s not good enough. Neither are half our squad – Marveaux, Obertan, de Jong, Thauvin, Vukic, and plenty more besides if you want to go down through the list of youngsters who are also losing matches heavily just like the first team. We need a major overhaul, starting with the management.

Essex bill, your earlier post was very true, many teams have played good football and went down, Wigan were outstanding at times, they did win a FA cup though! We have just won sweet FA.
