There will be lots of news stories about players Newcastle will be after in this summer´s transfer window and assuming we can stay in the Premier League then it could be one of the biggest transfer windows ever for Newcastle and will probably exceed the £52M we spent last summer.
But first of all we have a fight in our hands to stay in England´s top division, although again results went for us today when Swansea, after going ahead 1-0 in the first half at White Hart Lane were beaten 2-1 with two goals in the last 20 minutes form Spurs.
Tottenham go second top, 2 points behind Leicester City and 3 points above Arsenal who surprisingly lost 3-2 at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Frank Acheampong – 22 year-old Anderlecht Ghanaian International winger
We have already been linked today with Lyon 22 year-old center-back Samuel Umtiti and news also that we are interested in Anderlecht’s 22 year-old speedy winger Frank Acheampong.
One big mistake Newcastle have made in the last two transfer windows is we have not strengthened the defense sufficiently and we also have failed to get a top proven goalscorer into the club – and we assume those will be the top priorities in the summer.
Frank Acheampong has played 113 times for Anderlecht since signing for them in April of 2013 for €1M from Buriram United in Thailand.
In those games he has 13 goals and 13 assists since making his debut against KSC Lokeren in July three years ago.
Some big clubs are also said to be interested in the 8 times capped Ghana International and they include Marseille, Juventus and Inter Milan.
The 5ft 6ins tall Ghanaian has an excellent left foot and he possesses some speed too, so he would fit nicely into the Newcastle side.
But this summer Newcastle must make a priority of getting top defenders into the club and a recognized Premier League goalscorer such as Saido Berahino.
It was good to see Saido have an excellent game for West Brom yesterday when he scored one and made one in the 3-2 win over Crystal Palace and he looked back to something like his best form.
Comments welcome.

Comment #1Jail……… I did suggest to him the other day that it would be a good time to admit the truth, wipe the slate clean and continue to post under one name as you and the others he has annoyed suggested to him also. There does seem to be conclusive evidence to prove all this stuff , but he seems determined to deny it all , even though there are so many who know what he’s up to. You can’t all be wrong and him right so Ian if you read this maybe you should just own up and stop all the animosity against you. It can’t be enjoyable to read so many negative comments about yourself.

Comment #2Not exactly a priority position, but thinking ahead, Sissoko will likely be off in the summer. Aarons has big clubs interested and his contract is too close to the end of its duration, so bye-bye to Rolando.

I fear for our negotiations with Aarons. He’s promising enough to have been tied up by us by now – unless we know he has a career limiting chronic injury.

Comment #421st Century Schizoid Man – The club found time to get Perez nailed down to a new contract recently. If they are waiting for Aarons to prove his fitness, it could end up being too late.

Comment #721st – yes you are right forgot about those other exchanges. Seems that folk are prepared to say more when it is not strictly about an individual.
Tequila – no surprise you jumping in having a pop. I think I hadn’t been on here long and posted about Percy Parsnip – you jumped in then defending him.
As for ribbing Munster — I think you’ll find someone else started that off and I repeated it along with some servings of eel pie. I think he took it as it was intended a joke.
Perhaps therefore if you really want to make a point -fair – go back and locate who first made the manlove post – and then direct your fire at them. You are still trying to get mileage about being wrong about King Percy.

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manfred-muller-bekim-jusufi-amp-partner/beraterfirma/berater/1645
They don’t have a massive portfolio.
Aarons contract expires in June.
I think they have touted him around Italy (he has been linked with Juve and Milan) and are telling him to hang fire until NUFC’s league situation is clearer.

Trouble is that he’s so far up his own ar$e, he’ll post a few decent comments ( not my cup of tea mind) then think he’s totally exonerated himself and have a pop at others, if he just posted as normal without mentioning other people, tonguing Belfsat and saying yer right, people might eventually forget he’s a freak!

Comment #10There seems to be a lot of optimistic transfer target news coming out of the club on the basis that Newcastle are a force to be reckoned with next season.
Does the club know something about where we’re going to finish this season?
Perhaps we’ve signed Mystic Meg or Gypsy Rose Lee and she’s checking the tea leaves as we speak.
Bit difficult since the tea lady retired but maybe McLaren has a cuppa now and again between training sessions so the futures looking bright.
We could get Ringtons as sponsors.
One lump or two ?

Comment #11Mister Tuff,of course Pardew, another classic obsession of yours. You are aware he Left over a year ago?
Quality defence by the way,it`s not hypocrisy as long as you are just carrying on something somebody else said.
Just a bit of banter when you do it.

Comment #12And as for being wring about Pardew I made the point many times that the time to get rid was in the Summer before the season started rather than have him walk out halfway through a season and going into freefall with Carver.
Then again you have never been one for letting facts get in the way of your one man crusade to rid the blog of anyone who does not agree with your pompous BS

Comment #13As a neutral in the dispute between IanToon and several other posters who include Jail for Ashley, Mister Tuff et al. I would like to take this opportunity to arbitrate on behalf of both sides and try and end the dispute once and for all.
Ian……. The evidence against you posting under multiple blog names is overwhelming and you can no longer deny these allegations and expect to be accepted on this blog without resentment and animosity.
Your fellow bloggers have agreed to accept your posts in a normal fashion if you admit to your misdemeanours and apologise to all concerned.
I as arbitrator strongly recommend that you act upon this suggestion and lay to rest the years of ill feeling .

Comment #20Watching the Stoke / Villa highlights…not a huge amount to be afraid of at the moment. They’re not in the firm they were. We need a plan to stop Shaqiri, the rest is much of a muchness to be honest. Man mark him…

Comment #25Betty- It’s the very people you mention who work diligently to Continue to perpetuate the myth. I have little regard for what they think. . If a lie is constantly repeated some people will believe it. I have only ever posted as above and I don’t concern myself with the et al’s whatever. If people are that shallow, I’m not. I have never been moderated by Ed and he was happy to close the matter down almost three years ago.
The BS mentioned by tequila in an earlier post may be either true or false but usually is illustrative of a lack of concern for the truth.
Not everyone has your desire to do the right thing. I thank you for your offer but I can manage being a toon fan is not conditional.
Take care.

Comment #26Sing in the corner ..double up on Shaquiri… I thought about man marking yesterday.(who could do it ) ? ..but he’s far too crafty ..get tight on him and he still does the job. there’s 2 up front to worry about ..not to mention the centre backs coming up ..dead ball merchants.. got a feeling Hughes will be moaning after the game though .

Comment #27tequila – as I recall -though I will stand corrected on this I had not been posting on here long – 4 -5 years ago now. I posted about Percy Parsnip – and I’m 99% sure you challenged me about disrespecting our manager.
subsequently of course he has assaulted linesmen/nutted Meyler/abused Pellegrini – yeh I was wrong to disrespect him and you were right.
There now you can stop this ancient crusade.
As for wanting to rid the blog of anyone who disagrees with me can you please list your evidence which has allowed you to form this opinion.
I disagree with quite a few on here but would never think that I want them to depart the blog.

Comment #30Ian Toon – seeing that you have popped onto the blog. You have posted that I was being moderated for bullying.
Is this true or not. I have asked you several times about this and you fail to answer.
So come on is it true or false. You need to demonstrate the truth – then we perhaps could move to reconciliation.

Stoke might have the same disease we have ..we raise our game for Chelsea etc but cant get it up for Villa or the mackems and the weaker teams, by tradition.
A good analogy would be me under the cover’s with Lady Gaga.. or her indoors …I don’t want to expand on that ..on this cleaned up well functioning blog…now…

Comment #40betty – Ian Toon liked to promote in his post that he’d never been moderated – it’s a pity he could not have extended those sentiments to another – especially when he said I was being moderated – classic example of a law for one but not another or duplicity I suppose..
Yet another refusal for him to tell the truth .
Bearing in mind not much football to talk about -not a bad evening on the blog. I feel as if part of the blog yard has been swilled with a bucket of water containing a bit of Domestos. Keeps the creepy crawlies at bay for a bit.
