Can Newcastle Make It 4 Wins In A Row Against The Owls?

After surprisingly losing three games in a row to Blackburn, Hull City and Nottingham Forest – Newcastle have rebounded like all good teams do – with three wins in a row against Birmingham, Wigan and Burton Albion conceding only one goal and scoring eight.

We now have two home games in front of 52,000 sold out crowds against Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow night and then Nottingham Forest on Friday evening and we are hoping for two more wins to get another good winning streak going.

But with Rafa it’s only about the next game which is tomorrow night against a strong Owls side – but we are hoping the lads can give the Newcastle fans a belated Christmas present with another win to make it four wins in a row.

I think the team will be so keen to show that they ar not just a “one-trick pony” that SW are in severe danger of being blown away.
No motivation needed for this squad – the FA have provided that – thanks very much to them.
