David Prutton does a pretty good job of predicting the Championship results in each of the rounds of games.
The reason the home game against Aston Villa at St. James’ Park was put back to a Monday night game and televised was that everybody was expecting Aston Villa to be up near the top of the league challenging for promotion.
But that hasn’t happened for whatever reason and Aston Villa continue to struggle, even after Steve Bruce took over from Roberto di Matteo, who was sacked in early October.
David Prutton – Sky Sports pundit
It’s strange because Roberto di Matteo seven years ago was the manager of West Brom who at this time of that season were going head to head at the top of the Championship with Newcastle.
This is how David Prutton sees the match going:
“It’s a tough one. Both have assembled expensive teams but they are operating on vastly different levels,”
“There is something Steve Bruce needs to address at Aston Villa, and his players owe him a big performance and results.”
“But at this moment in time, with the way Newcastle are playing and how they are quite comfortable in large patches at home, it will be a tough one for Villa.”
“I don’t think it is going to be particularly rampant but with Villa coming off a defeat to Barnsley, Newcastle will know they have the capabilities to beat Steve Bruce’s side.”
But David thinks it will be close and predicts a 2-1 win for Newcastle.
We’ll take it.

Comment #2With this squad and Rafas experience I still think we’ll be up with 2-3 games left to play.
We’ve had our bad run.
Next 5 games are huge.
2 home games on the spin are achievable and then the next 2 away.
We take max points I can’t see us getting caught

Comment #3I hope Huddersfield and Man City kick the shoyte out of each other. Will be nice to see how the Yorkshire upstarts go with 3 games a week coming up, with their minuscule squad..

Comment #8EGB – 5th round FA Cup -draw means a replay at the opponents home ground. Only extra time and potential shoot out – AFTER – any replays (after level scores at full time -90mins).
Cannot help you with your interest in what channel the ladies netball super league is on. It was an insurance add on Sky that was promoting this. As I am not interested in Ladies Netball I took no further notice.
However, as you clearly have an interest in this sport – whether it be a genuine interest -or for letching purposes I’m sure you will find something which will accommodate your needs.

Comment #9should add – penalties after level scores in the extra time period.
Again apologies for those who know the rules.
