Karl Darlow’s performance last night at Brighton cannot be underestimated and he made about six great saves that kept us in the game and only 1-0 down.
If he hadn’t made those saves then heaven knows what may have happened.
Karl was great for us and he makes the EFL team of the week for that performance.
Karl Darlow – had great game for us last night
Good for him – and good for Newcastle
Notts County manager Kevin Nolan is also the manager of the week.

Comment #1Darlow deserves to be in the team if the week, Rafa was under real pressure last night you could tell, got a get out of jail card, thar starting 11 was bizarre, three recognised strikers on the bench for starters, Colback again running around in circles, that said we had no other option really apart from Anita, very very week midfield, Shelvey is our only decent midfielder at the club, the rest are just journeymen nowt owa at all, they will get trampled all over in the prem, it’s Rafa at mecca bingo again, came up full house last night but boy he was bricking it for long periods last night, moaned his tits off for 90 mins.

Are you sure -me no referee so I cannot be certain – but I am sure I have seen it a couple of times this season already where I have seen the ref call the players together to have a ‘quite word in there ear’

Comment #3He was brilliant for me last night! Short of misjudging the Corner Kick that Dummett (who was also brilliant) cleared off the line the lad didn’t take a step wrong all night! The save he made on the free kick they dinked over the wall and caught us napping on was beautifully read and a brilliant save! The penalty could not have been saved by any keeper in the world. But after the criminal penalty gave them the lead he kept us in the match and didn’t get rattled and made some top drawer saves! This kid is still young and will continue to grow under Rafa the Gaffer! potential to be world class and if it wasn’t for the 2 mistakes over the last few games we might be getting called world class already! Proud of the lad! Howay the Lads from Arkansas! ??
