Newcastle’s Home Strip Ranked Sky High In Premier League By Mirror

It looks like the people who rank the Premier League strips in the Mirror really like Newcastle’s new home shirt with it being ranked 4th top of all 20 home strips.

The only clubs above us are Tottenham, who retain 1st place followed by Liverpool and then Manchester United.

It hasn’t gone unnoticed that the teams that finish high in the league also have the best strips – so if only that’s the way we can finish in the Premier League next season  – that would be great!

Newcastle’s new home strip – very smart-looking

Here’s what the Mirror said about Newcastle’s new home strip with Fun 88 being the Chinese sponsors of the shirt:

“It’s great to see Newcastle back in the Premier League. So great, in fact, that we’ve elevated them into the top four. Forget the Championship… if kits were good enough for the Champions League this would definitely qualify.”

We are starting to really like the strip the more we see of it.

Here’s the full strip worn by number 9 striker Dwight Gayle – looks very nice.

Sorry I put the old kit up – just trying to keep things interesting.

The strip also looks great on Jack – a future number 9 at Newcastle United from the scouting reports we have received – but he seems to have different socks?

🙂

Comments welcome.

Note:

One of our readers Alex Wannop is completing in the GN 10K next Sunday and also the GN Run to collect funds for Tiny Lives, because the Trust provided lifesaving care for his son Isaac, when he was born by C-section and in some distress.

The Tiny Lives Trust funds the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI where Alex’s son Isaac spent the first few weeks of his life.

Alex is appreciative of the work the great doctors and nurses did to save his son’s life and that’s why he’s raising money.

Please support this very worthwhile charity on Alex’s Just Giving page where there are pictures of his son Isaac – thanks.

The Sun reckons that Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud could replace Romelu Lukaku at Everton if the Belgium striker leaves Goodison Park. Giroud, 30, is reportedly unsettled at Emirates Stadium and could move closer to an exit if the Gunners complete the signing of his France team-mate Alexandre Lacazette, 26.

    Yada yada yada

That guardian article link has “benitez transfers walk out” and in typically shoddy fashion goes on to say he isn’t, but…. What a crock of loose observation and slimy page-turning slop.

“If second guessing Ashley remains a fool’s game, the most likely forecast involves a compromise guaranteeing the manager’s at least short-term contentment.”

Seems like a reasonable observation, no?

So everything she writes about NUFC is to be discounted, Jib?

I think Tom cairney extending his contract by only one year at such a young age means he’s given Fulham one more season to get promoted – Good on him.

More real signings please. We’ve had enough of the imaginary sort. And so has Rafa I would think. The Taylor article is a bit wishy washy and shoddy as Tsunki says. Rafa is disgusted and walking out, no, Rafa is in love with the city and plans a long stay. Talk about writing while sitting on the fence Louise. Harrumph…..

Aye well it’s probably not all as bad as I said ha ha but aside from the clickbait link it’s just mostly a smoothly knitted conglomeration of observed behaviour garnered from social media and designed to look like insight with ambitions of foresight.

We can get all that right here 😀

I think there are finer pieces to pore over. There’s a good article here for example on a subject close to many people’s hearts.

    Ron
    Not everything
Sometimes she writes facts not supposition but it’s rare and she does have previous form for shitstirring involving NUFC
    and
she never writes anything bad about the Scum
she tried her best to discredit stories about kiddyfiddler Johnson for weeks after it was clear to the rest of the world he was a wrong’un.

I don’t mind having 30+ years old in the team, they have good experience and playing with more maturity (except Barton). I would be happy if we could get Thiago Motta and Stephan Lichtsteiner.

Jazzy You’re talking utter garbage on Perez. He definitely needs to step up to the next level but they way you are slating him is uncalled for. As I said who needs opposition fans when we have people like you in our stands.

Ludogorets in Bulgaria paid a club record £2.2m for young (25) Brazilian winger/striker Jonathan Cafu.
He’s one of these S.American players who seems to play better , the higher the level he operates at .
Bournemouth have been chasing him all Summer but now Rafa has registered an interest.
He should be obtainable at a fee worth a punt.

Easy now tiger. Am I not allowed an opinion.
I’ve seen enough of Perez over the years to make a judgement.
Rafa obviously thought the same as he hardly played him. So do you want to get rid of Rafa as well then??
We all see things different sunshine, Mines obviously not the same as yours

Strange how for many years I’ve been posting on here yet all of a sudden my mannerisms have supposedly changed.
Again the simple thing is to skip over my Moniker and go and pick on someone else.

Some time ago I observed an old feller tie the lead of his little scruffy terrier to a railing outside a co-op while he went inside for a bit of shopping. Some kids came up to him and patted him on the head and he dutifully obliged their attentions in silence. Next up, a middle aged lady who attempted the same gesture and was warded off with snarling and a healthy display of teeth and gums. Next up an old guy, pat on the head, no problem. Then a toddler with his mum, again repelled by a vicious territorial display. Totally random selection of victims and friends.

Guess who that little scruffy toerag reminded me of?

    😀

Jazzy i wouldn’t get upset, Jib we all know likes to hijack a toasting when he sees one in progress, nufc-83 has form as a questionable character anyways.

Besides you’re right about Perez. His chance to impress has come and gone. Not consistent, not sturdy enough.

As it says on Edd’s home page .. respect each other’s posts rather than throwing abuse.

I was beginning to think Jib and Nufc 83 were the same Guy
