News today that Adam Armstrong is now likely to go on a season long loan to Bolton Wanderers next season where he will join his former team-mate Sammy Ameobi, who moved there on a one year deal earlier this summer.
The 20 year-old striker spent a good season at Coventry two years ago where he scored 20 goals in 40 appearances for the League One club, but last season he had a disappointing loan spell at Barnsley, where he was not a starter.
At Oakwell, he scored only 6 goals in 35 appearances and will be hoping to do better at Bolton next season.

Bolton finished second – 14 points behind Sheffield United in League One last season – so they are back in the Championship and will no doubt hope they can get back to the big money of the Premier League soon.
Bolton manager Phil Parkinson thinks Armstrong can score the goals for the Trotters next season to at least shoot them to safety in the Championship in their first year back.
Bolton have been keen on getting Armstrong on loan all summer long, but there was disagreement with the Magpies wanting the majority of his wages paid by Bolton.
But it seems some agreement has now been reached and that will allow Adam to get first term experience next season back in the Championship.
He will be motivated to do well so that his dream of playing at his home town club Newcastle for the first team will remain alive.
Adam will be 21 in February so next season will be a pivotal season for him.
