Newcastle Release Third Kit For Next Season

Newcastle have just released their third strip for next season and it looks to be like a turquoise blue color with two white stripes on the arms.

Not sure what color the socks are but the shorts are the same color as the shirt.

So here are our three strips for next season from PUMA – they look good!

I think it is probably the case that Ashley is trying to sell the club and that’s why he does not want to invest From Rafa’s perspective, if Ashley can sell then Rafa may find he has owners who would be prepared to invest.
At the moment though, the outlook is that Ashley can’t sell and will still be here when Rafa’s contract expires – and Rafa will be gone. Simple as that.
I expect us to stay in the EPL this season but it will be very difficuly to get into the top half if we look at the teams coming up who have cash to splash

    Sorry missed bus.

I bet there was no issue getting the new SD signage in place.

Ashley owes money to himself, a tax fiddle, a way to keep the costs down on his advertising machine NUFC.

Even if by some miracle he’s decided to take his hands from around the clubs neck and pay himself back (lol), how many summers with no signings? 2? 3?

What happens WHEN he relegates us again? back to square one? 5 year plan lol.

And most important of all why should that fat cnut get £100+ million profit for miss managing the club and neglecting its facilities?

Ashley out by any means possible!

Hibbit I think it will be more of a case of the squad being too large and players needing to be shipped and off the wage book before bringing any more in

Not the only poster to have been through the mill first hand and have to say the it has stood m in better stead than any stage pantomime ?

I haven’t forgotten that Rafa approached the Club and have pointed that very fact out many times – of course Ashley need not have accepted his approach and gone for a yes man, after all his stature was well known in the game.

Equally though why would Rafa with his knowledge of the PL and Newcastle and it’s turmoil have wanted in in the first place?

He was hardly desperate for a job

As i have also regularly stated given his age and his realistaion that this is the very definition of a sleeping giant and probably the last viable one in PL he very much wants to be here for career and personal reasons.

That drive in my view is what has and will make him ride out the storms as long as he possibly can because we are a project he is heavily invested in. and is loath to abandon.

He may see various end games that would suit him but of course some he would much prefer. It is possible that even short term but incremental growth is keeping him here for now.

The contract remains the elephant in the room as mention is being avoided.

So is Rafa’s hand weakened by hanging on for as long as he can? Not in my view if he gets the status quo or marginal increases for now and keeps Ashley desperate in negotiations.

2 other things I have repeated on here

Ashley needs Rafa more than vice versa

Rafa is no fool and having viewed club antics from a distance. experienced them firsthand but is now inside the tent with a far greater grasp of the reality and an excellent hand to face down another poker player in perhaps the biggest game of his NUFC life! So who do you want on our side in that battle?

It’s always put across we need to get rid of cirtain players (which is true) our wage bill needs to be reduced (which is also true) but why did we bring cirtain players in in the first place?
Same old problem, poor scouting and penny pinching. Paying wages to under par players? Who’s falt is that?

No doubt the third kit expense came out of the transfer budget…..

BTW, I’ll bet ya that if NUFC sell anyone, there is a value placed on the player by AM & Charnely that must be received for the “out” account or the difference comes out of the transfer “in” budget.
