One Change For Newcastle At Cardiff

Rafa Benitez has just announced his team for Cardiff and it’s the same team as last week with Javier Manquillo coming in at right-back for the injured DeAndre Yedlin.

So still no start for Salomon Rondon.

And Rafa has changed the subs from last week with Isaac Hayden, Jacob Murphy and Federico Fernandez on the bench.

No place in the squad this week for new signing Fabian Schar.

Neil Warnock – Cardiff manager

This is a game we can win but like all games in the Premier League, we cannot make mistakes.

And we have to be more solid on defense than we were last week against a good Spurs side.

Its not realistic mate but surely crowdfunding is. Surely someone is creative enough to get the funds to rId us of this parasite. Because truthfuly as many people fear on here ashleys rule is going to go on and on and on… face the facts anyone that cant see it is a WUM.

IMO, not convinced Rondon is the right man but if Rafa wanted him so bad I think he should start him today. If things go tits up today then I think it won’t take long before some of the fans turn on Rafa he isn’t doing himself any favours starting with the Jos.

Mmmmm, I like the subs bench, don’t like Benitez Spanish lot that much at all, looking forward to the game after 60 mins and the subs come on.

No surprises in that line up. Just hope Rondon comes on to freshen things up rather than chase the game…

Got a funny feeling about this one but I’m predicting a 1-2 win for Newcastle. The real danger will be if Cardiff score first.

On an aside – I’ve resisted the strong temptation
To throw my two-cents worth in regarding the Corbyn ‘debate’ but I will share this. One of my favourite Internet Finds:

I would personally like to see SD shareholders contacted, and asked why they are taking revenue out of a football club that is unassociated with them. Maybe an open letter from somebody like the Magpie Group, written for SD shareholders. Like any Oligarch, go after the inner circle.

Bournemouth struggled to get a second goal against Cardiff last week despite dominating. probably going to be similar so i’m going for Newcastle win 1-0 or 2-0.

What a turn up for the books, catchy isn’t happy with the line up. I wonder what’s happened to the business he started while we were winning?

I think we bought the wrong murphy. Josh Murphy looks a premier league player while ours look unfit even for Championship standards.

    Prediction : Cardiff 1 Newcastle 0

Harry Arter will take the midfield and dominate it. Diame looked woeful. unless Diame can up his game, midfield will be lost to Arter.

Never a booking, collision caused as much by the Cardiff player shoulder to shoulder with Ritchie as Ritchie himself. will have to keep a lid on his defiant attitude now, in case this poncy ref misinterprets it.

Too many of our lot not putting in same levels of application as 2nd half of last season.

So rarely were we outfought and outworked and that gave us the foundations.

    Need to step it up.

Just a couple of sloppy moments in possession. No alarms other than one or two of our own making. They’re newly promoted, full of beans for 1st home game.. I expected us to be under a bit more pressure early..
