Is This Newcastle’s Best Team For Chelsea?

The question asked of Rafa Benitez in today’s press conference for the game at home to Chelsea on Sunday was were the new players ready to come into the side.

Rafa said they are now fitter and so some players could perhaps b starting against the Blues on Sunday.

It’s tough to predict what team Rafa will start – but we expect Yedlin to come back in at right-back because he’s now fit.

DeAndre Yedlin – in action against Spurs

But he will need to have a good defensive game against a strong Chelsea attacking side.

We have a feeling that Rafa will remain conservative and keep most of the same players in from last week.

Here’s what the starting eleven could be and Kenedy is not eligible for this game:

Dubravka
Yedlin Lascelles (c) Clark Dummett
Shelvey Diame
Ritchie Perez (Muto) Murphy
Joselu (Rondon)

What’s your team for Sunday?

Muto and Rondon seem to have the best chance to start on Sunday.

It would be good to have our first win of the season on Sunday, but it’s going to be a difficult game against a top side.

AncientC – lesh- Even Simon Hattenstone

I interviewed Corbyn in June 2015 on the day he secured the 35th nomination he needed to make the shortlist for the Labour leadership. At the time I said he had nearly always been proved to be on the right side of history – after the event (embracing Sinn Féin, campaigning for the Guildford Four and the Birmingham Six, fighting apartheid). His indefatigable campaigning for Palestinian rights has also been admirable. But in resorting to such offensive stereotyping of Zionists/Jews, and conflating the two so clumsily/deliberately, he will never be on the right side of history.

What are you on about, you know that this is a Politics/music/nostalgia/seal watching/everything else blog.

With an odd bit of football chucked in occasionally.

I don’t think that that team will be far out, I reckon that one of the new lads will get a start but which one is anybody’s guess.

I’m going to say KiSy in for Big Mo

In Rafa’s quote – ‘My relationship with the owners normally isn’t as bad as people maybe think’ – the key word is normally probably referring to previous owners he’s worked with. Judging by the support he’s given Rafa over the last three windows, Ashley’s hardly tried to develop a positive relationship with him.

You’re very cynical. People are lying to you all over the place. So much so that you’ve developed tunnel vision.
Years later overwhelming evidence will show you to have been wrong.
You’ll be sitting there thinking. “Wait a minute. Either this overwhelming evidence is wrong or I was wrong- and I couldn’t have been wrong because I’m a good guy”.
That’s a psychological phenomenon I have seen over and over.
Don’t align yourself with those that will do irreparable to our great Country.
    At least reflect on it!

It’s very much a case of who starts it.
AncientC and Lesh both use the excuse
of footy talk to push their political ideas.

Surely even a dumbbell like you can see
    that !

Having been appalled by your postings – I usually fast forward- I can confidently suggest that you are in the group bias category.
This indicates a tendency for people to value the beliefs and attitudes of those whom they perceive to be fellow members of their group, and to discount the beliefs and attitudes of those they perceive to be members of a different group.
I did a session on you( without giving name or source) and 79%’ came to the above conclusion. You’re some specimen – totally lacking in recognised emotional intelligence.

Please follow your own monikers advice and leave you communications devices behind.

There has been no political posts today until you showed up sabotaging the blog with your hounding out of people with your multiple monikers… Please, please, please for the sake of the avid users do a magic trick and disappear, this is as kind as I can ask, I’m sure I’m not the only one that is starting to get peed off with your worn out rhetoric under different user names.

I’ve never read your recent monikers names on here before but yet you’re using a blogger you know nothing about to do psychological case studies (JfA)? It beggars belief and comes across as quite frankly weird as fcuk, have a word with yourself… The irony in this is I actually used to give Ian toons post credence, but that good will is on the wane!
