Rafa Benitez – There Are Difficult Challenges Ahead

Newcastle have a very tough game this afternoon against Chelsea

Chelsea have won both their first two league games and scored 6 goals in the process so we will need to be near our best if we are to take anything out of the game this afternoon at St. James’ Park.

It will be a sell-out crowd today, and we will have an idea after the game how we may fare in the league this season – but we must be strong in defense.

Rafa could also start some of the new players like Rondon and Muto, but we’ll have to wait and see on that one.

Rafa Benitez – next three games are tough

Rafa is concentrating entirely on football until the end of the year in an attempt to get the very best out of the squad he now has at Newcastle.

This is what Rafa has said in the Chronicle today:

“I try to enjoy it, especially when we win. But at the moment we have drawn once and lost once, so I’m not very happy right now,”

“I knew the beginning of the season it could be difficult, but now we have to be sure in this period that we bring the new players together.”

“That the understanding between players has to be good, and be sure that we can compete now and be stronger for the future.”

“Believe me, to play against Chelsea, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest in the meantime, these are different challenges .”

“And I try to be clear in my mind what I have to do.”

It’s a tough week coming up – we have Chelsea today, we are at Nottingham Forst on Wednesday night in the League Cup and then we are away to Manchester City next Saturday.

Then we have the two-week International break.

So we really need to pick up some points this afternoon.

How you can cast doubt about Breitbart’s news? If it’s good enough for the Donald, it’s good news, not the ‘fake news’ that’s uttered by anti-USA organs that he’d like to see closed for peddling lies.

I bet David Luiz has been practising intercepting
long passes all week ha ha.
Sarri plays N’Golo Kanté further forward , Ritchie
has got to have his engine in perfect working
    order to track him.

    Repost from previous

    Posada

What makes the issue over the Strawberry Place land so important is that that land, whether owned or leased by the club, is a valuable asset in anybody’s book.

Whether the freehold or leasehold belonged to Newcastle United is irrelevant as Ashley appears to have taken it out of it so he, in the form of one of the companies with which he has an interest – whether or not he’s named as a director or not – to develop and thus profit from. Had the land been been used for development by the club, whether housing, student accommodation, hotel or ground extension or whatever, the club would benefit materially whereas in Ashley’s hands, he or his family or someone else for that matter will profit from any development on that land. He’s denied the club of space for expansion and/ or money from other property developments

Is that not reason enough to be concerned about that land and it’s ownership?

I haven’t got a problem with alternative facts as long as they’re not lies.

Now give Donald a break otherwise Catchy and his brown-shirts will be on the case!

Think Rafa staying will be contingent on Ashley selling the club as he will not put himself in a position where he will be lied to again, he is not that stupid. He has had enough of the lies and broken promises. As much as he love the city, fans and everything up here, he will leave as he cannot take it any more……
