It’s Now Official – This Newcastle Player Has Skills Galore – Video

Newcastle’s on-loan winger Kenedy has not had a particularly good start to the season, but we did think in at least the first game at home against Spurs he showed a lot of his skill.

And it so happens that he is currently one of the best dribblers in the Premier League this season.

They measure it stats wise by the number of dribbles you have done where presumably you take on a number of players and come out with the ball.

Kenedy has so far made 10 successful dribbles, and he is only beaten by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard who has 14, and Adama Traore (12) have made more.

Kenedy – on one of his dribbles

Traore was a former Newcastle target who moved to Wolves from Middlesbrough last August.

Kenedy is joint 3rd in the dribbling stakes – so to speak.

The stats are amassed by the whoscored.com website.

Traore hasn’t had much playing time at Wolves, and he has played fewer minutes than Hazard’s 223 as an example.

So when you take that into account, Traore has a better dribbling average when you consider the minutes he has played.

Boy, you can do anything with stats.

When you take the minutes played into account – the number of dribbles/minute – Traore is top and Kenedy is third.

Here’s the list but low score is better in this case because what they have done is by measuring the minutes played/dribble (rather than the dibbles/minutes played.

Players position   with minutes played/dribble:

Adama Traore – 7.6
Eden Hazard – 15.9
Kenedy – 23.4
Yves Bissouma – 28.4
Jack Wilshere – 33.4
Demarai Gray – 33.6
Nathan Redmond – 36.0
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 36.4
Willian – 37.2
Raheem Sterling – 37.4

As we said – you can do anything with stats, so we had better leave it there.

What does this show?

It shows that Kenedy has tremendous skills and some dribbles he made last season for Newcastle were simply amazing.

He’s an outstanding player and still only 22 – but we have our doubts about whether he will ever sign permanently for Newcastle United.

We hope he does since he’s the type of will o the wisp player Newcastle fans love to watch.

Here are some highlights of his skills from nufcTV:

What do you think?

Ashleys scouts are letting him down badly. Look at the players Brighton have picked up under Paul Winstanley.
Some outstanding talents, maybe he needs to freshen this area up somewhat.

just be aware the lower the SD share price falls the easier and cheaper it will be for Ashley to take the company private again which may be his aim

Did you tell him you have spent the last two and a half years trying to persuade fellow Newcastle that he is an outdated, cold hearted, only plan A defensive manager who’s been sacked from his last three jobs and who’s transfer dealings are atrocious. Or did you offer fair and balanced criticism citing we’d have been higher than first(sic for welshgeordie9) and tenth if we’d attacked more?

    Our financial savior

Newcastle United owner and Sports Direct boss Mike Ashley is considering an appeal after being dealt a blow by a High Court judge.

Mr Justice Arnold said Sports Direct managers were justifiably criticised by lawyers representing a financial watchdog which wanted documents staff thought would help in an investigation into the conduct of an auditing firm.

Lawyers representing the Financial Reporting Council had “characterised” Sports Direct’s approach as “one of obfuscation and delay verging on obstruction”, and Mr Justice Arnold said that criticism is “entirely justified”.

Wonder where all the money went ??

hibbit #3 exactly the point I was going to make. Let’s be absolutely clear here for those who don’t get it, Ashley would love nothing more than to take his beloved Sports Direct off the stock exchange and back into his own grubby greasy fingers.

A lower share price means he can do just that all the more easily.

Then, a large amount of the pressure he’s feeling now just disappears.

Jib the shill……….. Jib as you have now been exposed as a shill I was wondering if it might be an idea to change your moniker to Jill which would give you Jib and shill and sort of incorporate the Jane aspect as well.

I see that King Kev will never set foot inside Sports Direct Arena as long as Cashley is owner. He does not want to share the same oxygen. At least we have something in common.

Jib has actually left home . His real missus accused him of being a transvestite so he packed her things and left.

He actually left the house wearing one of her mini skirts which showed a lot of balls.

Hopefully sports direct shares will drop so low that MA decides to buy up as many shares as he can. Might make him more inclined to cash in on NUFC. £300m will buy a lot of shares.

Two more goals on Monday for Mitrovic. The lad continues to play well for club and country. I recall a number of bloggers complaining about Mitro, saying was not a “natural goal scorer”. Well he seems to be scoring a lot of goals “unnaturally” these days…

Should be interesting to here what’s said at the SD meeting today, Ashleys not attending, things aren’t getting to him he’s just got a Dentist appointment.

SD lost another 5% on it’s shares yesterday, bet that’s not small change..

    Another masterstroke by Ashley?

If the Mackems can sue their own players for skivving off then maybe we should do the same to our owner. When was the last time became to work ?
Hope the Mackems take Ndong to the cleaners, his situation is an affront to anyone who does a days graft.

Sunderland are considering suing club record £13.6m signing Didier Ndong, 24, for failing to turn up this season. The Black Cats admit they have no idea where the Gabon midfielder is. Senegal defender Papy Djilobodji, 29, only returned to the club last week.
