Rafa Benitez’ Frustrations Boiling Over – A Miracle If We Avoid Relegation

Rafa Benitez has basically lashed out at Mike Ashley in an attempt to get some financial help next month to strengthen the Newcastle side.

Rafa has said it will be a miracle for Newcastle.to survive in the Premier League this season.

The message is directly meant for Mike Ashley, and since this could well be the last transfer window for Rafa at Newcastle, he is doing his very best to get Mike Ashley to help him strengthen the side.

He is trying to build a good team at Newcastle, and for nearly three years now Rafa has been stopped at every step of the way by the frugal owner.

But Mike Ashley is not interested in building a top side at Newcastle.

It’s completely ridiculous.

Rafa Benitez – frustrations at Newcastle are boiling over

This is some of Rafa sais as quoted in the Mirror today:

“Even if we strengthen in January it will be a miracle if we stay up. I think everyone knows what we have to do.”

“Does Mike Ashley know? I hope so.”

“We are doing what we have to do and now we wait to see what will happen.”

“We have the targets, the names, so we have to do what we have to do.”

“I am trying to tell everyone, realize where we are. Realize what we have to do and if we do well, fine we can finish 10th or whatever.”

“If we think we can beat these teams that have spent £100M, every one of them, every game, there is no chance. We are wrong, 100%.”

“We can try make things happen in January, we will see what happens. It would be a miracle to stay up, yes.”

“For me it is very clear. I know what is coming now and I know where we are.”

“You can see the team is trying a lot of things but still it is not enough to get the points. It will be like that.”

“If we are under pressure and feel this pressure we will not be better and we can make more mistakes.”

Rafa’s frustrations at Newcastle are boiling over, but this is what he has to do to try to save Newcastle and have us still be a Premier League club in May.

As I said it’s ridiculous, and we are hoping that Mike Ashley will sell the club quickly.

But we don’t know if that’s going to happen before next summer when Rafa could well have left the club.

Comments welcome.

Sorry repost again but think it’s relevant.

Reading some of the comments from Rafa it would appear something is wrong behind the scenes. He sounds down and has given up trying. He works all hours without any reward or appreciation from the owner and would be seen to be banging his head against the wall. This would wear anyone down.

Ok he gets his salary but I believe his pride is at stake, but sometimes realisation sets in which it has, that the players are simply not good enough.

He knows there is not going to be a takeover, and with no report of money being available to buy decent players, he will be thinking why bother.

Rafa is on his way out and who can blame him. A golden opportunity missed.

Rafa can have every last penny.

    TV revenue 123 M
    Players sales 40 M
    Gate revenue 25M
    Total 188M

    Wages: 90M

    Where is the 98M?

As someone on twitter says ”NUFC is on life support and the lying, greedy, arrogant, drunken oaf is stealling it all.”

Rafa’s tone indicates he knows no sale, no transfer money. It’s amazing the people on here who want rafa to play champagne football with one of the cheapest and worst squads possibly ever seen at SJP.

People say o Rafa you need a number 10, you need a forward. Do you really think he doesnt know that.
1.5M Hayden and 4M Diame against Keita and Fabinho on Thursday. Those are the cards rafa has been dealt by Ashley.
As shearer said ” what position does HOF play ”

Not the kinda things potential new owners want to hear for a takeover nor us fans. The sorry state we’re in is so depressing. It wears down on anyone including Rafa. AshLIE is a the tightest and most greedy Billionaire I have ever witnessed, what a tool. He’ll probably F off once we’re relegated again and left in the sh*thole that is the championship. We’ll be lucky to survive this time or get back up if we go down again. Merry fking Christmas, thanks AshLIE for ruining that for us too you arsehole!
