Newcastle Make A Move For 25-Year-Old Striker On Loan

The Mail is reporting today that Newcastle are interested in 25-year-old Marseille striker Clinton N’Jie.

He was at Tottenham for a couple of years from 2015 before he made the move to Marseilles.

Spurs paid €12M for him from Lyon in 2015 on a five-year deal, but he made only 8 appearances (all of them as a substitute) for them in the Premier League.

Newcastle want a loan deal for the player with an option to buy in the summer if he performs well through the end of the season.

Crystal Palace are also reported to be interested in the player.

In 71 total appearances for Marseille, he has scored 14 goals and has 8 assists, so he’s not a prolific goalscorer by any means.

He has 22 caps for Cameroon and 7 International goals.

Sounds awful bit has to be better than Joselu.

On previous post West Lancs I watched the game and if you read my post was actually answering them questions not asking them haha. Read my answer if on why Son was allowed to stay as you got it wrong.

Catchy what are you talking about Rafa had the same squad. Same squad as Steve and Pardew? No they both had squads that were much better than this current team. Regarding the Championship that’s a tough league with any team and we still won it so don’t get your point. Brighton’s team was not much worse than ours in the championship. On Diame I agree he is poor technically but if you don’t say he played well in the 2nd half of last season you are on drugs he was immense and probably player of the season (2nd half that is). He deserved to start this season and with Hayden is the only true cdm we have so it’s a no brainier who starts out of then two.
