Alan Shearer Reacts To Great Win For Newcastle

It was a terrific win for our lads this afternoon when we beat Cardiff 3-0 at St. James’ Park.

The first two goals came from Fabian Schar who is proving himself to be an excellent acquisition for Newcastle from Deportivo – and one of our favorite players.

Ayoze Perez scored the third goal three minutes into added time.

The win takes us to 21 points from 23 games played and we are 4th bottom of the league and out of the relegation zone.

    WTF
One of our lads had £1 bet at 75-1 Fir Schar to score first in 2-0 win

If we’d got the 3rd earlier

Interested to know thoughts on the lucky fans who went to the match .

Rondon was unplayable today. Absolute beast upfront. Won everything and held the ball so well.

Schar was fantastic as well and the first goal was conjured out of nothing and set the platform for us.

    Motm has to be schar.

Longstaff was OK but not Premier league standard for me.

We badly miss Ki who brought the perfect balance in midfield for us.

Not to take anything away from Fabian’s first goal
    but
the defense was watching Rondon expecting a lay-off

It has not been announced by anyone that takeover is dead. It’s not looking good though.

Ashley releasing a letter saying that Peter Kenyon and his consortium are the preffered bidders to hand over the club to and in the lead, gave us all hope and info I had gave me further hope.

That letter and comments now need explaining in full by Ashley , a statement from Ashley.

My take on it if it’s off is that Ashey wants to retain too much of the club and it makes it an unrealistic proposition for any buyer. He’s demanding too many residuals.

We need a campaign now to get Ashley to walk away without profit ..get his money back and set us free. That has got to be the message if sale is off.

Ashley moved the goalposts ? Sale was on, it has to be his fault if it’s off.

Let down buyers who had their time wasted need to tell the story.

I’m still hoping . No hope and Bob Hope springs to mind .

I think the Blackburn game did indeed give our lads a much needed confidence boost. I thought the lads were well up for the fight and Cardiff weren’t. They didn’t look like scoring today IMHO.

    Brilliant result!!!

    online guy…

about the takeover yeah ASHLEY wants to keep his fat fingers in the pie just like he did at rangers…

if i was buying the club for£ 300 million i would NOT want ASHLEY to have anything what so ever to do with the club. thats mostly what a lot of the lads and lasses on here have been saying for weeks now…

one thing WHO has come out and said the deal if off i cant find anything from anyone to do with the club saying this. but i think we will find out in due course ..

Great win today no doubt! Well done lads and well done Rafa!

Cardiff is probably the worse team in the league…is it the first PL game where we had more possession than the opponent?

We needed that win and the lads delivered…that said in all fair and all that…

Atsu is just a poor player if you ask me, Yedlin didn’t make it easy for Perez, Longstaff didn’t have a great game, but a well needed game which will do all sorts of great things for him I believe!

But looking at the poll at the top of the page…there’s still one player I though was a disappointment but it seems either those who vote just pick a player or they don’t really watch the game (not saying it’s not on the telly or they weren’t at the game) but Rondon? Common!

He was such a disappointment today in a game where we actually had possession and opportunities!

Well done Schar, well done Perez and well done defense (more or less)…Hayden was actually not bad as well!

Is some eyes that would be a fair and balanced view but we know better than to think that don’t we 😉
