Rapidly Emerging Newcastle Star Is Our Man Of The Match

Our 21-year-old local lad Sean Longstaff is certainly starting to make a name for himself, and he had yet another excellent game in the Newcastle engine room at Wembley.

Sean seems to stroll through these games and never seems to be hurried which is always the sign of an excellent player.

Sean could keep his place when Shelvey and Ki are fit again, and he deserves to stay in the starting eleven on merit.

And the England selectors are looking at him for a possible England U21 call up.

He’s the find of the season for Newcastle and reflects well on our U21 coaches.

And second in the voting is one of our very best players since he came in for the second half of the 1-0 first win of the season at home to Watford.

Sean Longstaff signing a new four-year deal in December

Schar is turning out to be an absolute bargain buy at only £3M from Deportivo.

His incredible clearance off the line in the second half yesterday was something to behold.

He’s an excellent player, and it looks like he’s now a regular starter for Rafa.

The lads did very well yesterday, and we were unlucky to lose to a late goal.

    Have a look at this
It appears to be a vehicle for his loan to the club
Have a look at the accounts 30 June 2017
in particular the last few notes.

If we survive this season, “IF” then we have to find the money for Rondon if we can get him, we must really, we have the possibility to turn in to a decent counte attacking team, we are getting up to PACE literally. Let’s see, it’s the toon as we know, what’s happening with the takeover anyways!?!?.

If MA does not sell NUFC, I do believe that he will do enough to keep Rafa at the club. Having finally purchased a player who was Rafa’s first choice, he just needs to put pen to paper to tie himself into a legally binding promise to pay for small upgrades to the stadium, training ground, academy and squad over a number of years.

Rafa does not need huge investment to fulfil his project dream and by drip feeding quality players into his well honed system, he can achieve some of the success that he has planned for, albeit over a much longer timeframe than he had visualised.

The Almiron signing is a great piece of business for Mike Ashley.
Ashley allegedly tried to sign him at the start of January for a cut price 17 million. If that offer had been accepted the deal would not have gone ahead because of his alleged excessive wages.
But the fakeover and no signings were causing a massive revolt. So the fat man offered another 3 million and everyone in Toon seems delighted. 20 million buys an average player these days. Mitro went for 27 million.
But all the pent anger against Ashley has dissipated. For an extra 3 million he has bought off the crowd for at least a year.
The Toon is so easily pleased. 16 million for Owen in 2005 is 70 million now. Our club record signing is hardly a club record as it is nowhere near the inflation cost.
The crowd is easily pleased. one nil to the Ashley.
And if Almiron does not turn out to be the next Messi guess who will get the blame??? Rafa. the fat man will add any failure to the Muto and Murphy signings and Ashley will claim he was right to withhold money from Rafa as he is a bad buyer.
Its a win win all the way for the owner.
I am not going anywhere near the ground until the owner has gone.

How the hell does Ashley need to borrow 20 million to buy Almiron?? Its all a joke after the 100s of millions he has taken out of the club.
But its all gone on department stores.
Your money is making Ashley richer in high street retail.
You must be mad putting cash in his pocket. Bonkers mad.

Beer …….. If he doesn’t sell up then he has blatantly lied. Fair enough if he’s been reducing debt to facilitate a sale, but if not he can’t be allowed to get away with it time and again.

    Pain in the blog,
And what happens if Ashley doesn’t fulfill his legally binding contract, then Rafa has to drag himself and Ashley through the mud to get out of the signed contract. Ashley clearly doesn’t mind being dragged through the mud as he’s been there so many times, Rafa holds contracts in high esteem and therefore could do without Ashley’s BS. Rafa is gone I’m afraid unless there’s a takeover.

After five frustrating transfer windows where the manager has been publicly undermined an left his self vulnerable to fair and balanced criticism because he hasn’t been backed, Ashley has finally done enough by finally buying a player Rafa wants. Jeezus wept, what are people smokin’ on here?

I hope Almiron is good and can keep us up although I fear only prolonged relegation will get rid of the owner. So I am arguing against myself to a certain extent.
But we need to be rational about the player. How good is he. We are putting immense pressure on him because we think we have a world beater because he cost 20 million. Average PL price actually.
If somebody else wanted him in the prem (possible exceptions of Cardiff and Huddersfield) he would not be coming here.
He is here because nobody else wanted him. We might have a diamond but we might not. He should be dent at the very least and thats all I expect. I hope for more.

no not give him the keys to vault

but make sure there is enough to sort the training ground and say 40mill in the summer but it all depends on whether ashley just wants his loans or all his investment
    we dont know
infact we know very little and i bet when the accounts are published we will end up knowing even less
