Great performance throughout. Could easily have been 5/6-0 if we’d been that but more clinical but can’t complain.

I’ve got a feeling we’ll cause plenty of problems for teams on the counter in the remainder of the season.

Optimistic Magpie I was one who questioned almirons ability to cope physically. It’s still early days but the signs are promising and believe me I’ll be very happy to be proven wrong.

Great result for the lads today, delighted to see both Rondon and Perez score. A result of more space being created by the Miggy effect?

    Rob

He is so fast that will be a great asset for this league, I was a bit unsure but once we get Vardy alongside him in the summer and Lalana on the other wing – we will have pace to burn….

    Good stuff this Becks Lager

Great win, three points the same as the ones we took off the Champions

    I’m happy

(Off now to watch the Wales v England match, couldn’t watch it live so doing a ‘Likely Lads’

Later Boys, anyone seen Catchy on here ?????

Jib i did tell you miggy and Perez wud combine well. The guys claiming Perez wud be the guy to lose out know little of rafa’s thinking (rafa loves him) or perez’ ability.

Why would anyone question Almirons physicality?

He’s played in the Argentinian league which is half foootball, half mixed martial arts. And the MLS is very physical very demanding. The skill leve isn’t quite there compared to the premier league but pace, strength and power and high.

The premier league is much softer then 10/20 years ago, there’s not too much difference compared to European football now.

Perez takes a half season to get going
Every year he arrives in late January to become one of our best players til the seasons end

    Someone voted for Kenedy….seriously.

Longstaff slightly edged Miggy for me. It’s great to finally produce a player of his ability. In my humble opinion he’s better than Michael Carrick was at this age and should be on the verge of making the senior England squad let alone the u21s.
