Predicted Newcastle Starting Eleven Against Bournemouth

Fabian Schar is suspended for the next two games and Jamaal Lascelles has a knee injury and Rafa will not risk him tomorrow.

So we are two defenders short tomorrow and we expect Newcastle to switch back to a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The game tomorrow against Bournemouth is the last game for two weeks and we can overtake the Cherries in the league table with a win – so that’s what we are hoping for.

It will mean a return to the side for Federico Fernandez who played so well in the first half of the season.

Federico Fernandez – should make a return to the side tomorrow

So here’s the side we think Rafa will start tomorrow at the Vitality Stadium.

Dubravka
Yedlin Lejeune Fernandez Dummett (c)
Hayden Ki
Perez Almiron Ritchie
Rondon

That’s still a strong side and even with Schar and Lascelles out we expect the defense to play well.

We are going with Ki for a second successive start in central midfield but Jonjo Shelvey will get playing time in the second half.

A win is what we need.

#NUFC are through to the quarter-finals of the Premier League Cup following an impressive win at Woking.

Jamie Sterry – who returned from a loan spell with Crewe this week – and winger Tom Allan got the goals.”

“I wonder if this [Newcastle Pull The Plug – Recall Three Players From Loan Deals] is to do with the u23s losing ground in the bid for promotion. Get them back in and push for promotion to the premier league 1. After all if you want a good academy you want to be testing your youngsters against the best academy teams in the country.”

    crossed my mind too
