It’s The Last Chance Saloon For This Player At Newcastle

In the second half of last season, we all thought we had a new star at Newcastle with on-loan Chelsea winger Kenedy looking like an outstanding player for us.

Kenedy and goalkeeper Dubravka were the two players who helped us climb the league table and finish 10th last season.

Rafa was able to get him on loan again this season, but the 23-year-old has been unable to replicate the same form this time around

A reason for that could be that his wife and children are still in London and they had a baby last summer.

So it could be that the Brazilian U23 International has been unsettled this season and Rafa has mentioned that this term.

Kenedy – has missed out on his chance to join Newcastle permanently?

Whatever it may be Kenedy has been nothing like the player we had last season.

We don’t think Rafa will both trying to sign the Chelsea man permanently in the summer or even bring him in on loan again.

The only way that will change if Kenedy shows some really sparkling form in the final 7 games of the season – and that seems unlikely.

One position Rafa will be looking to fill this summer is left wing back so that Matt Ritchie can move further forward next season.

It doesn’t look like Kenedy will get a chance to be that person for next season.

He’s still a favorite at Newcastle with the fans, but he’s missed his chance to become a permanent signing at Newcastle.

What do you think?

What’s the chances of Parliament’s server crashing and all petitions being lost? These things happen…Innit!

I’ll appreciate Kenedy for what he did for us last season and always resent his kid for depriving him of sufficient sleep this season.

He’ll find his way on the Continent somewhere, maybe Cagliari or Leganes, sadly I think not many big clubs will trust him now.

Good use of loan system, wouldn’t like to have him permanently at our club.

Kenedy will be fine when he lands a new club on the continent away from the prem, the lads not cut out for it imo.

His first 6 months here he was great but he had something to prove and people to prove it to, namely Conte as I believe he had faith in the lad but no space for him.

Since Contes gone and Sarri doesn’t fancy him at all he knows his Chelsea chance is gone which is why he’s been so turgid this year, his plans have all gone to fcuk and hence his form too.

Rafas teams cannot afford 1 in 7 luxury players so I fully expect him to go. With the lack of effect on the team he’s had this year that time on the pitch woulda been better going to a Sorenson
